Hi Peeps,

PUPPY LOVE

I have made this card to celebrate Pet Love using a Prize I got from winning a Challenge at DRAGON's LAIR DESIGNS FB Group.... ' Dachshund '.
I have coloured him using Derwent Fine Art Pencils. The backing papers are from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES - Puppy Power Pack available at SCRIBBLES DESIGNS  HERE.

I followed a Sketch from CAS Sketches #259.

FIRST OF THE DAY

Happy Friday and here I am with my first offering of the day. This one is made using an image from a new designer (well, to me anyway). I saw details of the Shop and Challenge on someone else's Blog and went to have a peep. I ended up buying half a dozen or so digi images :-D
This is " Some Bunny Loves You " by SASAYAKI GLITTER.
I have coloured him with Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils, and have used my new border die and a freebie backing paper from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCRIBBLES

Good morning Peeps,
I have popped in to say a Happy 4th Birthday to SCRIBBLES DESIGNS.

They are having a Blog Hop where you could win prizes for commenting and also giving away a piece of Freebie Cake.
I have used the Cake and  " Dog Wash " on my card and also a backing paper from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES.
I coloured the dog with Promarkers and used some duck tape to paper piece his tin bath and added some Stickles on his bath bubbles.
With the cake, I superimposed some fruit cake on the image and added another candle to celebrate 4 years.

  

Right - I have to whizz off now as I have some other creations on the go and I gotta do it when my Mojo is flowing :-D xxx

HAVE YOU EVER STOPPED TO THINK ........?

Well, it's me again today.
I was thinking recently that I pick up loads of Freebies along my Blog browsing and stash them away on my EHD, but then don't use them. So - I have made myself a little pledge to start sorting through and getting them out to use.

This one is new, however, and is from SCRIBBLES BY SANDY and is the FREEBIE for this current Challenge - 'BOYS WILL BE BOYS'. I've already slapped one entry in but - having taken the marbles freebie - I decided to do another, pretty deep and thoughtful creation.
Without further ado, here it is..............

The Marbles are from SCRIBBLES, the background is from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES - called MLT Night Sky 2 and the hand and Earth are  by ME ( I drew it for this creation). 

I added a swirl effect to the backing paper and the marbles were coloured in PSE 9. The hand was coloured with Prismacolour pencils blended with baby oil. 

Now, I hope it fits with the Challenge theme ? I know Boys like to play with marbles and this is a very BIG Boy playing with these :-D

I'm off to walk the dog now, so that's probably all from me today :-)

PATH OF POSITIVITY #5

Cripes and crikey - I completely forgot to put up my card for the PATH OF POSITIVITY CHALLENGE #5. The theme this time is  'OPTIMISM'. Now I've always classed myself as a pretty optimistic - glass half full - sort of person, but sometimes things really test you don't they ???!!
Anyhoo - I better get this up quick so you can see it :-)

I have used 'Chicks First Flight' from FRESH BREWED DESIGNS and coloured him with Copics.

I can't find the details now for the set of papers or the sketch I used to complete the card :-(  Flowers are from my stash. The Sentiment is from LISA at DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES.

HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE - MACABRE MONDAY 173 - HORRORSCOPES

Hello Creepy Peeps,
Welcome to Macabre Monday HDH173 at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE - This time we are doing  ZODIAC .....HORRORSCOPES and our Sponsor is DELICIOUS DOODLES. Now Teri has been beavering away drawing  up some cozzzzzmic new images to use for this Challenge.
I have chosen to use CAPRICORN (soon to be released) - not for any particular reason other than I LUV the image :-) Teri has been doing 'normal' Zodiac images too for the faint of heart :-D  LoL

My background is from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES and I printed it twice over itself in two different colours to get the effect I wanted :-D. The I used the off-cut from a die cut as my frame. I inked over this using the 'stencil' type bits left after I die cut some flowers. I inked in black and green. I printed the image out 5 times and 'fussy cut' it and layered up with 3D foamies so he really pops out at you.  Capricorn traits and symbol from the Web

Good morning Peeps,

I went over to Lisa's Blog at DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES and saw her DT make for DIGI DARLA's CHALLENGE BLOG. The sentiment really tickled me :-, and I thought to myself.... I have a couple of DD images.... and Lisa's play on words got me into a silly mood, so I made this ..............

It's a twisted easel card and the image is called "Naughty Kitty Fish Bowl" by Digi Darla. I coloured him digitally and then put some stitching round the edge. On the inside, I printed the fish bowl again and then cut the little fishy out and carefully placed him next to the weed where the kitty 'fingers' were so you can't see it. The bowl has some glossy accents on it but that doesn't photograph too well !

ATC ATTACK - PHASE 2

Me again,
I decided to enter the Challenge over at ATCs WITH ATTITUDE since their challenge this time is being sponsored by Beccy's Place and I have loads of her images :-D  

The backing for my ATC is a DP by Kim Cameron Designs and I have used one of Beccy's Bird Houses. I added a little New Home sign and the bird is from SPYDER and is called 'Heart Birdie'. I paper pieced him on the first layer with a new paper I won from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES, then I coloured another beak, heart and tail with Copics and put them on, also with 3D foamies. The teensy weensy button I cut out and then sewed on with some green cotton :-)

Sorry about the slight speckies - I scanned this into my Blog rather than fart about with the camera, and the plate must be a bit dusty :-(

So, I think I am off to bed now. Feeling a wee bit tired.... must be all the sun I soaked up lying by the pool all day :-D LoL   Luverly xxx

CARDS TO CHEER A CHUM :-D

Happy Sunday Peeps, and Happy Mothers' Day to those of you around the world who are celebrating it today :-)
A couple of weeks ago LISA from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES, put out a request for some Get Well cards for NAOMI from CREATIVE BUG ON THE LOOSE... the poor girl is suffering with her health problem and can't even sit at her computer or nothing' - she must be bored to tears AND sick !!! We wanted to cheer her up a bit, so Lisa arranged for a Post to go up today showing all the cards that had been made for her :-D I was lucky enough to be given a brand new digi  to play with, drawn by Naomi.... he's called 'Sick Lolly' and here's what I made....

I used up some snippets to make the card and 'paper pieced' his blankie, after scanning one of the papers. :-D Oh yeah - and then I made a paper pleat to go across the underneath. !!

MEET THE FLOCKERS

Good Morning Peeps, and welcome to Bit By The Bug Tuesday :-D
                                                   
Today is a new release day over at CREATIVE BUG ON THE LOOSE and I was lucky enough to be given the new digis to work with. Naomi is still on 'Sicky Squad' and her Blog is being managed by the wonderful LISA over at DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES. Lisa started a special thing .... to get us to make cards for Naomi to hopefully cheer her up and also let her know we are all rooting for her :-) If you would like to join in there go HERE... scroll down a bit and you will see a message from Lisa giving the instructions on what to do :-) You can make a card up to 12th May, when Lisa will then post them all on a special Blog Post. Mine's in and the actual card it making it's way to Naomi by the proverbial 'Donkey Mail' :-D

So... back to my creations..... the new digi is called "The Flockers" and I made two projects.
My first is a Bob Voyage card. This image seemed to say to me that it would be great for a journey, so I put them on a holiday type background, added a compass coz I figured they would be going South, made a post card and then coloured the images with Copics, cut them out and mounted them with foam pads. I also added a tiny flock of birds that was a freebie from Digital Stamp Design. To get yours go HERE.

Then I got an idea about where they might be going, so I made a 3D project and call it 'Flocker Island' Here they are just arriving.

This time I coloured them digitally and printed them out twice - once on the 'flip, so they would look as good from the back. I also did the same with a palm tree, cut out a few extra leaves to stick on for 3D effect,  and then mounted it on a pipe cleaner. I stuck it into some clay in a small plastic dish and then put some tiny pebbles from the beach round the bottom. It would look great with some blue water in it too but I think my clay might suffer a bit.

The tree stands about 7" tall, so I enlarged my Flockers to suit.  The two halves of the image are sandwiched together on a wire so the birds kind of dingle around a bit in the breeze :-D. The smallest was a right little 'Flocker' to cut out and paste together round his wire !!! LoL

I think they work equally well in bright colours - it's such a versatile little image :-)

ANOTHER CARD COMMISSION

Here I am again with another commission for a friend to give to her sister. Apparently she is a mad mountaineerer, snow walker + skier !! Jolly good luck in that freezy weezy weather I say... Rather her than me :-D
Anyhoo - I made a triple mountain fold card - - well it fits doesn't it ??!!!

I snagged a couple of clip art images from the Web and a fabbo silhouette and this morning LISA at Decosse's Dynamite Doodles gave away a fabulous 'Snowflake Border' which I put with her 'Snowflake Paper' too. If you pop over to see her, you can pick up the links to the other Freebies )the Paper and some Word Art). I used her snowflake paper on the back too but I faded it down a bit, so my friend can write her message there.

Afterwards I thought the sky was a bit bare so I stamped some white snowflakes using a stamp from Wild Rose Studio.
