AWAITING SOME NEW ARRIVALS

Hello Peeps,
Well - I am waiting for a couple of Foster puppies who will be arriving at the weekend. :-)
I don't know anything much about them yet but will take some photos when they are here.
They will be with me for about 10 days so I hope they will be good and that they like cats :-D

Here is a card I made for the DRAGON's LAIR FACEBOOK PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE.
I have just managed to scrape in with 1 day to spare LoL

I am going to have a day off from card making at the weekend because my craft room is in such a mess. !!! I must tidy and sort out some things that I want to sell as I no longer use them :-)

I hope you are all looking forward to your weekend and maybe getting some nice weather too. It's pretty hot and storms here in Greece and I think we are due for some more torrential rain :-(

CARD COMMISSIONS JUNE 2018

As promised, here are some pretty girly cards :-D

This first one was made using several die cuts and some Greek lace. The flowers were die cut and then tinted with cream ink.

This one was for a Greek lady. The papers and images are from SALT TOWN STUDIOS - Blue Skies Kit  and the card was constructed using a Bow Card Template from SANDRA's SCRAP SHOP.  I printed out the flower elements in different sizes and then fussy cut and layered them. All the bow elements were stitched on my sewing machine. I used assorted dies for the lacy bits and leaves.

I used flowers from SAMFLORA and a lovely floral die cut which was sent to me by a Blogging chum :-)  The kitty was stamped in orange in and then coloured with watercolour pencils. The stamp is from a set by 'Your Next Stamp ' and the Set is called ' Jessica's Kitten '. The background papers are from 1st Edition - ANIMAL ANTICS.

SOME MORE BLOKE CARDS :-)

I always find it difficult to make cards for me if I haven't got an idea of their hobbies or stuff. 
I've had a bit of a run on Blokes' cards this week, but at least with most of them I was given a hint LoL

This first one - the lady said her father liked G & T, Music and liked to burn his own music CDs :-)
I used some scraps of hessian too and an alphabet die.

For the fisherman I made a little fishing gillet having seen a picture on Pinterest and drew some fake stitching. I made some little fishing baits and covered them in glaze to make them shiny. Then I fussy cut then and stuck them to hang off his pockets.

This one was for a teenager who's not really into anything except sitting in front of his computer !!! :-(  So I did this......

I hand cut a gamer handset and then used bits from my scrap box for the background etc. The gold number panel is the left-overs from a numeral die cut and then I die cut his name.

Inspiration for this taken from Leslye Lauterbach Designs card ;

This one is for my youngest Grandson - he is into super heroes :-)

The background web was done with an embossing folder . The Spiderman is a colouring page, fussy cut and mounted with 3D foamies.

SOME MORE CARD COMMISSIONS

Well Helloooooeeee,
here I am with the promised pictures of my latest card commissions.
The first one - the lady asked me if I could draw a guy with a beer and a plastic paddling pool.... so I did  hahahaha
The background is a watercolour painting I did of a little scene on Telendos. The bottle was printed out and covered with sticky backed plastic to make it shine :-)
The paddling pool was coloured and then coated with glaze to make it look like plastic.

This one is for the same guy. The sunglasses were coated with glaze and the bottles covered with plastic. The little shirt I folded using a shirt template and the background is a map of my island -Kalymnos.

I'M BACK AGAIN

Hello Peeps,
My Blog has been a bit neglected recently as I have been busy fostering some Rescue Doggies :-)  My Doggo Boi hasn't really been too impressed, but he had an easier time with this last two  in that he was bigger than they were LoL
Here is PAVLOS who I had for about 3 weeks or so.........

Moishe is now back to being Home Alone Doggo Boi until we maybe get another chum :-D
