12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS WITH SMEARED & SMUDGED

Hello Peeps,

I will be playing along as a Jolly Blogger with the 12 Days Of Christmas over at  Smeared and Smudged.  I'll be posting something hand made by me on the set dates throughout the month of December.  Everything will have a Christmas theme. We can make anything as long as it has a stamp somewhere - either Rubber or Digi and there will be special Smeared & Smudged days too. I hope you will stop by and take a looksee. :-D

HERE KITTY, KITTY

Here is something I just am playing with now. I've been doing a lot of POE inspired digis and I can't seem to stop at the moment LoL. I was inspired by the story 'The Black Cat' by POE. This was done using one of my new POE digis I have just created.  I coloured him digitally. Not sure if I'm totally finished with it yet :-D xxxx

HAIRY LEGS !!!!

Happy Friday Everyone,
Today over at Delicious Doodles, Challenge No. 7 is "Hairy Legs".  You can do anything you like, but there must be some hairy legs on your creation, whether it be animal, spiders or blokes!! LOL
For my creation I have used Allura and Gryphon from DD and have coloured them digitally. I have placed them on my own Castle Room background and made my own sentiment. I hope you come over and play along with us :-) xxx

WITCHELLA's CHRIMBO DINNER !!

Hi Peeps,
Having a bit of fun this week...... I got some amazing Sassy Studio images and I'm in a bit of a zany mood, so here is a little Chrimbo creation I have come up with. The main image is the gorgeous 'Masquerade 1' from Sassy Studios. The cauldron is from their 'Halloween Accessories' set. I have coloured them both digitally. The added extras are from the 'Gross Anatomy' set from Smeared Ink, and the added Chrimbo hat I gave her I cut from 'Watchful Eye', which is also from Smeared Ink. The background is my own image 'Castle Room' available in my Shop.

POE ME

Hello Everyone,
This week over at Smudgy Antics, our theme is 'POE ME' - as in Edgar Allan POE. :-)
Your task is to create something using POE images or words or anything to do with him that takes your fancy.
I decided to make a little lampshade and stand. It is all made from cardstock and a kitchen roll tube.
I have chosen 'The Telltale Heart' as my written piece. I printed some of the words onto paper and then splashed some blood over it. I then tore and distressed my paper with chalks.  I then made a sort of flat decoupage of images of POE and ravens and I also used 'Cracked Heart' from the Heart Wings set by Smeared Ink.  All my images were torn out and distressed before being stuck on. I've taken a couple of shots 'cos it was difficult to show everything. :-)

FOREVER NIGHT CHALLENGE

I have made this for the Freaky Friday Challenge over at Forever Night. The theme is called "No Way Around It" and your project has to have a circle somewhere on it. Their sponsor this week is Stamping Dragon Designs and I have used my new papers and images from Stamping Dragon .... the 'Christmas Morn' set and put it with 'Santa Snail', which is their image in support of The Ear Trust, but I 'Steampunked' him up a bit with some cogs, since Forever Night is supposed to be a bit Goth/Dark/Steampunky :-D I hope this counts for an entry.  L0L.

Here's a little piece using 'Tom Turkey' who is a FREEBIE over at The Crafter's Cafe - Thanksgiving Challenge. He just made me laugh when I saw him, so I HAD to use him. I coloured him digitally. DEAR HEART

Hello Peeps,
I have made this little hanging thingy for the  'Dear Heart' Challenge over at Smudgy Antics this week. You can win this amazing digi.....Smittie from Smeared Ink's "Love Li'l Grumpies" digi stamp set.

I have used 'Striped Heart' from the Heart Wings Set and 'Just One' Grumpie both of which are by SMEARED INK . I coloured them digitally and then printed them multiple times so that I could fussy cut them and make them 3D. Bit of ribbon and brads, to hold the doors shut,  from my stash.  Cool eh?

POCKETS

Hello Peeps and Happy Monday,
I couldn't resist joining in the 'Pockets' Challenge over at Bugaboo Stamps Catch The Bug Challenge Blog. I have made this little 4" pocket card and have used all Bugaboo stamps to decorate it; AKV BB Stork (Freebie), Desiree Sitter, Ava Grad Diploma, Grow People, and of course NO project would be complete without Stella. !!  I added an appropriate grumpy sentiment :-D  I coloured all the images digitally and then cut them out tag shaped. Some are tags and some are stuck down. All backing papers are Little Sizzles from Sizzix :-)

REMEMBER

I have made this card in honour of Remembrance Day. My father stills goes out selling Poppies - Bless him. Not so sure about this year though as he has only just moved into sheltered accomodation as he is getting a bit fragile now :-)
Anyway, I have made this card using a photo from the 'Web' and the image is by Ellephantastic and is a freebie for Round 6 of the CDAC Progressive Challenge, where I shall be entering this. The poppies are from my Hannah Hay 'Poppies & Daisies' CD. I have decoupaged the Bear and the poppies for added depth :-)

SIMPLY CREATE CHALLENGE

This time over at Simply Create the theme is 'Love You Beary Much'. The Team have made some beautiful creations, so why not pop over, have a look and join in :-)

I have made two cards this time because I couldn't decide which one to use.... I love bears and have sooooo many images.
My first one uses a kit from Crafty Gals and is a 5 layer decoupage.

My second one is completely digital and uses papers and elements from Daisy Doodles and the cute little bear is from GTC's Crafty Corner.

DELICIOUS DOODLES CHALLENGE 6 - REMEMBRANCE

Hello Peeps,
Our Challenge this week at Delicious Doodles is Remembrance. Now, it is Poppy Day this Sunday so I have chosen to go with that theme, but you could use Sympathy or just the fact you remembered someone's Birthday or Anniversary.
My main image is Poppies from Delicious Doodles, with barbed wire and sentiment plate made by me. The wording is from Wilfred Owen's - 'Dulce et Decorum est' - the best known First World War poem. A truly heartrending piece.

This is a piece I have done for the cat inspired art challenge over at The Butterfly Effect. The theme this week is Cats and we were to create a piece of artwork inspired by cats. I Luuuurve cats :-)

SNEAKY PEEKY

I wanted to show this as I have just finished my second Mini Album for a swap over at CDAC. This one is for a Secret Partner Swap though..... I know who mine is for, but don't know who's doing one for me ..... I'm excited, but let's hope I have better luck with this one and actually get something back !!!
This is just a little sneaky peek at one page 'cos I want to use this for the CDAC Progressive Challenge Round 6 - we were given this digi image by Designed2Delight and I luv him :-)

SMEARED INK DT PROJECT - ALTER SOMETHING

Hello Peeps,
This week's project over at Smudgy Antics is to alter something. Now I'm not very good at this 'cos I can never think of anything good to do. Anyways, I tried with this candle.  Now our quest as usual is to make the project using images from Smeared Ink. I just LOVE the Heart Wings Set, but I sometimes sit there with them going "Ho Hum,... what shall I actually DO with these??!!" I coloured up the 'Cracked Heart' image and cut out several of them. My candle is from the local shop. One good thing about Greece is that these big candles are cheap !!. I have 'drawn' flowers on it with that fake lead paste stuff you get in a tube, and coloured some of them black. Then I stuck my Cracked Heart images in the spaces. I don't think it came up too bad !! I posed it with some material and fake orchids I bought a while back, so it looks a bit posher now !!! :-)  I think I'm waiting for my Mojo to come back a bit as well, after our 31 Days of Halloween marathon. !!! Hopefully, I will be fully functioning soon LoL   xxxxx

When I did this I was soooo not satisfied so I did this as well.....

I snarfed about in the garage and found some beech ply and cut a key ring fob. The little owl is 'Calamity' from Smeared Ink. I Pyrographed him into the wood and then coloured him with inks. Couple of coats of varnish and Voila !!   I really miss the smell of burning wood and was glad to get the old Pyro out again and play. Sorry my smudgy grunge background didn't come out so good though !!!!

SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM 'ROCK N ROLLA' CHALLENGE

Hello Peeps,

I've had this basic image idea for 'SheMan' for about a week or so now. For him I was inspired by the Rocky Horror Show :-) - and I got him finally done today. It's a pity you can't see close up of his red fishnet stockings bwaahahahahaha.

His female partner is 'FemDom' from the fabulous Smeared Ink and everything on her was coloured and produced digitally.

I was totally inspired by the Rock n Rolla Challenge over at Smeared Ink. There is a video there for a song called  Danger! High Voltage by Electric Six, which is hysterical,  and I just HAD to sit here this evening and do this.............

CDAC PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE .... ROUND 6

Hello again Peeps,
He we are with my first entry for the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round 6. The theme for this one is "Winter Wonders" and I have used Winter Bear by Designed 2 Delight as my main image. I coloured him digitally and then cut him out and stuck him to my background paper with silicone to raise him a little. His dream is made with an image by TLC Creations and I have coloured that digitally as well.  The backing paper and elements are from a digital scrapbook kit called 'Christmas Card' but I don't know who it is by.  :-(

HAVING A BREATHER !!

I am having a bit of a rest after the 31 Days of Halloween gigantic Blog Hop with Smeared & Smudged Forum. :-)
I have put up for you today a painting I have done called Halloween Dream.  Just something to look at  for a while  :-)
I have been working on a few Christmas cards for an order today and am also finishing up a new paper bag Mini Album that I am making... working on a deadline on this one, so I have to finish on time !!!
