CUTE SCHTUFF

Hello Sunday Peeps,

I am doing some more cute schtuff today , building up some card reserves - I know my friend will want some to buy for March :-D

These papers are from Dovecraft and the set is called Couture du Jour.  48 sheets of 8" x 8" with dresses and stuff on them and they have some gorgeous plain papers in there too. I used some of the patterned ones the other day on the bunny card I made HERE.

I used the plainer ones with a Marianne Design CreaTable die...LR0454. The base card is white with a deeper pink back base.
The image is " Spring Bunny Friends " by GERDA STEINER, which is the February image for her  Progressive Challenge.
I coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers and cut them out leaving a teeny white border. They are attached with 3D foamies for a bit of pop. The butterfly is also in that same die set. Then I fussy cut some of the flowers from the same paper set (from the snippets that were left from my card the other day).

FIRST OF THE DAY

Happy Friday and here I am with my first offering of the day. This one is made using an image from a new designer (well, to me anyway). I saw details of the Shop and Challenge on someone else's Blog and went to have a peep. I ended up buying half a dozen or so digi images :-D
This is " Some Bunny Loves You " by SASAYAKI GLITTER.
I have coloured him with Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils, and have used my new border die and a freebie backing paper from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES.

Also used: scraps of red and white card

A LITTLE BIT OF VINTAGE

Me again with a vintage creation. I got a panic 'phone call from a friend yesterday afternoon for a card for his Mum. She lives in Brighton, UK, so I always like to put something about that on it.

Inside

I used my Marianne Creatables Die set LR0281 which are filigree corners, but I used it in a slightly different way and  made the corner pop out separately. The background and inside is some left-over paper snippets from an old scrapbook kit I had.

Inspiration for the card design shape was taken from the Marianne Creatables shop site. The picture of Brighton is an old public image print and the Lady is one of half a dozen a friend sent me over a year ago now :-).

It's funny - sometimes when you have a rush job, things seem to go just right and other times you just sit panicking. I was pleased with how this turned out.
