DAY 3 of the 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS

Today I offer you a Creepmas card.. I decided to try another white on white.

I used my Cuttlebug 'Polka Dots' embossing folder for the background coz I don't have one with snowflakes unfortunately !!

I then used a variety of dies to cut flowers + ferns and the snowman edged snowflake I bought from a friend LINDA at Scrapcat Cards who cuts them with her Cricut machine and sells them in her Etsy Shop HERE.

The main image is a new one drawn by the very talented LADY B and he's  available at SMEARED INK. Isn't he fabbo ?!!!  He's called 'Defrosting Skullman' LoL

I coloured him digitally and then cut him out with a die-cut.

This is another new one ... also by LADY B... and he's called 'Bad-ass Snowman'.. LoL

Don't ya' just LUV ATCs ???? - well I'm hooked anyways :-) 
I have been making Christmas decorations this last couple of days (photos will probable appear later) but I saw an ATC Challenge and had just the thing. I had been working on colouring a little image that just makes me laugh out loud... it's called "I Love Carrots" and is from SPYDER. You can get one in her store Dragonsmore....HERE.  Most of Spyder's digis are only 99p... Bargain !!! :-D
I think this is sooo funny with the Reindeer eating the Snowman's nose - the look on his face is classic !!! LoL
Anyhoo - I made this ATC using a Cricut snowflake with added Stickles, a small snippet of white card embossed with dots and I fussy cut the image into 4 layers for 3D effect.
I added a tiny little bell (it actually tinkles) that I've been hoarding for ages and some tiny orange seed beads are where the bits of carrot falling are on the digi :-)  Then I added a little senti that says "Merry Crunchmas"  and the Font is called 'Bite Me'...LoL

P.S. sorry the photo is not really crisp - I am back to using my old camera (which was playing up) coz the new one I bought is total poop !!!! :-(

SMUDGY ANTICS CHALLENGE + DAY 2 of 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS

I have a bit of a 2'fer going on today.... SMUDGY ANTICS DT piece for this week + DAY 2 of the 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS with Smeared & Smudged. You should have arrived here on the Hop from the  Joyous JENN....................
This week at SMUDGY ANTICS our Challenge is to Alter Something. Now, ordinarily I hate this theme coz I can never think of what to do !!! I look around and have shedloads of schtuff that I hoard but when it comes down to it I can't think of what to do :-( I spend hours trawling sites on the Web for inspiration and then end up with nothing.!
This time however, was a little less of a struggle.... I had stashed away a couple of those plastic case thingies that you get stacks of blank CDs/DVDs  in ... one of my moments of "hmmmm, they might come in useful"  - you know what I mean ?
So, I had this crazy idea about bats flying up out of a cave or something, so I used the base with the long stick thingy as my start. I printed out loads of bats from the 'Little Bit Batty Set' from SMEARED INK. I had to flip print them so that they were on both sides when I stuck them together. I altered the sizes a bit to try and get perspective. I made some cala lillies out of clay and then stuck those to the stick bit. I hot glued a couple of coils of fishing line to the base and threaded it through the holes at the top of the stick.  My bats were attached to the fishing line by sticking the two halves together to sandwich the line. Then I made some pebbles out of clay, painted them with water colours and glued them down on the base, then added a little varnish. I was quite pleased with how it came out. I have got the plastic tube bit (like the one it's sitting on for the photo) but it's not quite clear enough when I put it back on this base, so I left it off for the photo :-) Anyways, here it is....

Now, this is also my project for DAY 2 of the 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS. I got some Chrimbo ribbon round the bottom and I cut out some holly leaves with my Craft Robo. I was thinking if I put some snazzy wrapping paper in the bottom, it might make an alternative table decoration centrepiece :-D ... what do you think ???  LoL.

12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS - DAY 1

Here is my creation for today....

I made this card using one of my new designs for SMEARED INK... I have produced a set of The 12 Days of Creepmas which can be found in the SI Shop now. :-) I coloured it with Copics and used die cuts and a strip of music from an old christmas cracker.

Gosh - me again.... on a Monday !!!! :-)
I got some new embossing folders recently from Docrafts... 'Bubbles' series. They are very interesting and would be great as stamps/digis, but I was wondering just how I would use them and make them show up. !! They come with a demo sheet inside that's been done on glossy card, but that's not what I want to use for everything is it ?? I picked out one called "Bubbles' Beauty Sleep".

Anyhoo, I decided to try something .... I printed a sheet of card with a plain wine colour and then embossed it with the folder. It looked pretty good but it was even better after I sanded it lightly with some fine grade sandpaper :-D  Pretty cool eh ? Then I did some faux stitching around the edges and put it onto a piece of cream card. Cut a senti and Voila !!!

The little kitty looking round the corner of the chair made me think of saying "Thanks", coz my kitties all come and lay with me if I'm under the weather and they all try and play 'Nurse Kitty'.... bless !!!

So, here it is...

I am sending this to a little friend of mine who always cares when I am sick :-) xx

POISONED PEAS - THE WALKING DEAD

This time with my DT project for the POISONED PEAS Night Crew.

I was lucky enough to get 'Monster Clown' for my project. I coloured him with Copics and then found an old etching of a circus which I kept in black + white, so he would show off nicely. I stuck him on with silicone for added 3D.

I hope you will come over and join us at Poisoned Peas and admire the works of my DT sisters and also welcome VEE into our midst. Vee makes marvelous creations and her Blog is always an inspiration, so why not pay her a visit  :-)

RUDOLPH DAY 3

Hi again,
Here I am with my 3rd entry for November RUDOLPH DAY over at STAMPING FOR PLEASURE.
I decided to get some stamps out today and I have used 'A Little Bit Sketchy 2' by Sheena Douglas. I stamped the images with black Stazon and then coloured them with watercolour pencils. I fussy cut the piece of fern and mounted it on tiny sticky foam pads for 3D effect.I then mounted it all onto a snippet plain fern green card and added a shiny chrimbo sentiment :-)

I hope Sarn will be pleased with me this month :-D xxxx
