Good morning Everyone and welcome to our BLOG HOP. This will be for the next 3 days, so I hope you will enjoy it.

You should have arrive here via the luscious LADY B but if not you can shoot back up to the top and start over. My first project is  a card using one of my new Rubber Stamps from SMEARED INK !!! YaY.  I used   the OCCASIONS GRUMPIES SET.  Smeared Ink has a Rubber Club now where you can get different sets each month :-)

THANK YOU CARD

I have strayed towards the cutesy side this morning to show you a little card I have made for a friend to say Thanks. :-)
I have used a new image I got the other day as a Freebie from a new place I found...... MILK COFFEE ... I thought my friend would appreciate this cutie :-)

I coloured her with Prismacolour Pencils and baby oil with some Copic enhancements :-) I used chalk for her cheeks.
The papers are from the Sizzix  - Little Sizzles range... 'Rainbow'.

Happy Friday Peeps - are you looking forward to some crafting time this weekend ?!!  :-)
Today, I have hopped off the round the world train to give you something you might find useful for St PATRICK's DAY as that will be coming up on 17th MARCH 2013, and I haven't quite finished my images for 'Germany' - which will be our next stop round the world :-) The infection in my hand from the cat bite is still hanging around :-(

Our TOP 3 this week too were - tOri,  Mark and Corrine. Such stunning entries and so many of them this time, it was extremely difficult for us to choose !! Our Followers are gradually increasing too, so we are very pleased to be finding all you POE lovers out there and we thank you for coming over to play :-D

So, now onto Quest 18.... Here is your Tic, Tac, POE board..

Choose any 3 boxes in a line and use them to make your creation but don't forget it MUST be related to Edgar Allan POE in such shape/form/connection :-) That's the whole point of our Challenge site eh ??!!

For my creation this month I am converting a little booklet I got with my phone. It started life looking like this;

I shall be decorating it a bit at a time and have completed the front page. I used the CENTRE line DOWN on our grid......... Ribbon/Raven/Flowers. I have background paper from Crafty Chaos, a Raven from SMEARED INK's Quoth The Raven set and across the front I sewed some lace with roses onto a piece of acetate. The Raven was printed 3 times and fussy cut, layered up with silicone to make him 3D.

I hope you will come over and play along with us this month and also take a looksee at the delights my Minion Sisters have made for you. We are thrilled to have our beloved FIONA back with us for this month and we send her huuuuuge hugs xxxxxxxxx

PIN SWAP

Hello again,
I recently joined in the PIN SWAP over at the CRAFTERS' CAFE. It is being hosted by Kristy and we had to make 3 using at least 3 beads.
I have only done a couple of pins before so thought I'd have a go. Since I have already posted a pikkie at TCC, I can Blog about them now :-)
I used some teddies - although they are Chrimbo ones... I thought everybody would be doing Valentines ones !!! I attached my feather to the pin with cord and then glued on my beads and then the teddy.
I made matchbook style presentation packs using "Love Bug"  DP and elements from Scrap With Lynn on a base of plain red card. I attached a couple of gold heart brads on the front and a piece of cord to close. I decorated the front with assorted goodies.

I did a special packet for Kristy, but I can't show you that coz it would spoil the surprise :-D 

ATCs

I love making ATCs, so I couldn't resist this weekend trawling through to see what I could come up with in the way of Challenges. I found WICKED WEDNESDAY, who's Challenge this time is Gothic Love and the sponsor is BUGABOO - well that's a great combination if ever I saw one, so out came my bits and bobs to make an ATC. I used backing papers from Crafty Chaos (sadly no longer open) - the set is called Gothic Bruise (how appropriate) and my image is 'Skelekinz My Heart' from Bugaboo.  I distressed the edges of my backing cards with my Making Memories tool. I coloured her digitally and then printed her out 4 times and fussy cut, mounted on 3D pads for pop. :-)
I also used a sentiment from Bugaboo 'You have my Heart', but it doesn't show up quite so well in the pikkie :-(

THINGS I LOVE

Me again !!
I have a few bits and pieces to show this weekend, so I shall be back ....
Here is a tag I made to enter some challenges.
I made a background for my tag using text and then overlayed digis from STAMPIN' UP. I have used 'Outlined occasions - Love' and 'Sprinkled Expressions - Flower'
My kitty is 'Witches Cat' from OCTOPODE. I printed my coloured kitty 3 times and then layered him up on the card with silicone glue to make him 3D. I must try making some of those wobble spring thingies coz I reckon that would have been a bit of a laugh if he had a wobbly head :-D . I added some glitter to the hears on 'Love'. Bow and glitter heart are from my stash and I made a stick pin too :-)

THE QUIRKS OF GREECE 2

I hope you are all going to have a fabulous crafty weekend :-)

Following on from my previous story about the quirks of Greece, I have another one for you that never ceases to make me chuckle....
I was on a very big Greek ship travelling from Athens to here. This trip takes 13 hours and it was overnight, so we decided to get a cabin. We stashed our stuff in the cabin and noticed on the dresser was an ashtray. Looking up to the ceiling there was also a smoke detector and we were unsure if it was allowed to smoke in the cabin - Hubs can't go that long !. The ashtray itself was quite an anomaly, so we decided to go and ask. It went like this........

Me: "Excuse me - there is an ashtray in our cabin - are we allowed to smoke in there?"
Reception Man: "Yes, of course Madam"
Me: "Erm....But the ashtray has a No Smoking sign printed inside it ?"
Reception Man: "Ah - yes Madam........ that is for the people who choose not to smoke".

!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... well of course - silly me....... it all makes perfect sense......... doesn't it ????!!!  LoL

Anyways - this is the ashtray concerned........ I leave it to you to fathom this one out :-D

 Following on from our Greek series I asked if anyone wanted to go anywhere else around the world.   Crafty Suze suggested Germany or New Zealand.
So, here we have a little montage of images about NZ. Sorry - I wanted to do more with these and they may be a little wiggly, but I was bitten by a cat a couple of days ago and now have a hand that resembles a baseball mitt, so I'm a bit stuffed. :-) !!!
