Well, I decided to have a crafty Saturday today instead of my original plan. I was going to get rid of some garden rubbish - I have 4 big piles of dead stuff and twigs - but I can't burn them at this time of year cuz it's against the law and they are too big to stuff into a sack, so I walked away in disgust and came down to my craft room :-D LoL
I'm still feeling a bit 'bleh' about crafting at the moment. !! It's not that I don't have ideas.... I think it's that I have too many and things just aren't flowing from my brain down my arm and aren't coming out exactly like I pictured them - so it's all a bit frustrating. !! :-(
Anyhoo - here's another ATC I mucked about with, as I often find they inspire me and give me the satisfaction of actually completing something :-)
The background for this was done by swiping assorted Spectrum Noir pens over some plain card.
The image stamp is ' LARGE PERSPECTIVE BACKGROUND ' rubber stamp from LOST COAST DESIGNS.
Now - this baby is about 5" long and I wanted it for an ATC, which is 3.5 " x 2.5", so I stamped it in black ink first and then put it through the scanner so that I could re-size it in a graphics programme.
The Raven and Sentiment are from FUN STAMPERS JOURNEY and he is just the perfect size for an ATC but I did print and scan as before and then 'flipped' him because I wanted him to face the other way. I then cut him out and mounted him on foamies for a bit of lift.
Well - I keep looking at all my schtuff and I still don't know what to do, so I might go and do some sewing now !
Thanks for popping in and I hope you have a FAB crafting weekend or whatever else you are going to do :-D xxxxxxxx

What a fab ATC. LOVE that background stamp and how you used it with the bird. I am rubbish at perspective, but you nailed it.
ReplyDeleteAha, have you got feelings of "overwhelm"? I am suffering from that a bit at the moment . . . so much to play with and can't get down to it for anything! Still, I have a personal challenge to meet, using some stamps that arrived yesterday, so will HAVE to get on with it!
