Well - it's absolutely peeing down here today and I got soaked to the skin when I took Dog up the mountain this morning. I think it just waited until I got up there and the Heavens opened. Dog actually legged it back and went into hiding under the car - I guess he doesn't like rain ?!!! hahaha
Anyhoo - I am here to show a card I made this afternoon using some messy stuff - texture paste and alcohol inks and sprays :-D
I used a die cut as a stencil and the background is the silver foil lid from a take-away carton, which I embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.
I added some machine cut snowflakes and the main image is Angel Statue from the " Ancient Cemetery " Plate 56 by DESTEMPELWINKEL. I did her in blue ink twice and cut out the second image of the angel minus the wings to decoupage up for 3D pop. The sentiment circle I got today from Bross Artful Designs. I then stitched my card onto some blue Chrimbo paper and then mounted everything onto a white card.
So, now I have managed to get the inks and stuff off my fingers and I am a happy bunny :-)
My card was inspired by the Christmas Angel Song which I found on YouTube.... it's just gorgeous and you can listen to it HERE
Thank you for popping in.
