SUNDAY ATC HIT :-)

Good morning Peeps,
Here I am again on my ATC hit for today :-D

This one was made with images from Octopode - Norman and a skull and crossbones. Norman is usually holding a cute little chicklet but I wanted something different for this ATC. In stead of that he is offering you a skull for a present LoL
The sentiment is a quote from 'Emma' by Jane Austin.

I fussy cut him and put him on with 3D foamies, then I cut the skull twice and layered each one up. The background paper is a couple of snippets I had left over from a previous project and  is from 'Endless Love' by Juliette at the Digi Design Resort. I made half the ATC with the dark and half with 'normal' to reflect my quote....................... "One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other". 

This certainly applies in the Crafting World doesn't it ???!! :-)

I printed my sentiment onto a teeny tiny ticket. The Font is called 'Blood'.

PAINT PARTY FRIDAY WK 17 - YEAR 3

Hello Painting Peeps,

Browsing around Blogland this morning I came across Lisa's latest post over at DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES where she has done 'Flashback Friday' and taken a trip down memory lane back to the 90's with one of her sketches. That got me thinking about what a wheeze it would be to dig through my old art folders from school and see what I could find...... I came up with this.... a study of reflection and refraction we did and if you squint really close you can see the date in April 1971 !!!! ACK !!! I was but a young Sprogette :-D  It was done in pencil and is now smudged and the paper is turning quite beige with age LoL
Anyhoo.... I thought I might show it at PAINT PARTY FRIDAY this week - even though it's not actually a painting :-)

Hahahaha !! In the words of the song.... "You've come a long way Baby".... hee hee :-D

ATC ATTACK - PHASE 2

Me again,
I decided to enter the Challenge over at ATCs WITH ATTITUDE since their challenge this time is being sponsored by Beccy's Place and I have loads of her images :-D  

The backing for my ATC is a DP by Kim Cameron Designs and I have used one of Beccy's Bird Houses. I added a little New Home sign and the bird is from SPYDER and is called 'Heart Birdie'. I paper pieced him on the first layer with a new paper I won from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES, then I coloured another beak, heart and tail with Copics and put them on, also with 3D foamies. The teensy weensy button I cut out and then sewed on with some green cotton :-)

Sorry about the slight speckies - I scanned this into my Blog rather than fart about with the camera, and the plate must be a bit dusty :-(

So, I think I am off to bed now. Feeling a wee bit tired.... must be all the sun I soaked up lying by the pool all day :-D LoL   Luverly xxx

ATC ATTACK

Hello again Peeps,

I am on the ATC wagon again :-) This little guy is from 2cuteink and I have altered his candy corns into red white and blue for the 4th July celebrations going on today in the USA. I hope they are all having a great time. 

The lil' bat and corns were popped up on 3d foamies. The background layers are a paper from AH Designs and the stripes and star borders are from MeinLilaPark.

QUOTH THE RAVEN QUEST 22 - IndePOEdence Day

Hello Peeps and welcome to Quest 22 over at QUOTH THE RAVEN and this time we are doing IndePOEdence Day in celebration with our US cousins :-D

I have made a tag using a freebie paper as a background and actually got out my red rubbah !!! The Poe image is from the Quoth The Raven Set by SMEARED INK and this is the very first time I have cut him out and inked him up :-)
I did him first by colouring the stamp with Marvy Brush Markers in red/white/blue and then just in plain black. I popped them up with 3d foamies.  The little Banner and words is part of a freebie wall art poster from 36th Avenue. Ribbon snippets from my stash.

CHARMING

Me again today,
Here is a little ATC I have made..... 'Cutesy'..... shock, horror !!!!
The backing is a snippet I had stamped an image on ages ago... I think it's called 'A Little Bit of Hessian' and I used a muti-coloured ink pad.
The image is from MELJEN's DESIGNS and is called "Cuddle Bun Baby" and I have had it sitting in my snippets box for ages now !!! . I coloured the original with Copics and then scanned it back into my computer and printed it 5 times. I have fussy cut and decoupaged the lil' bunnies in 5 layers :-D The little heart charm and bow are from my stash.

INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE

Hello Scary Peeps,
Here is my entry for the JULY "Oh, The Horror" Challenge over at The Challenger Group at  SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM. Our inspiration movies this month are 'Vampire in Brooklyn' and 'Interview With A Vampire'.

I have made a digital offering using a photo of Brooklyn sky line, which I superimposed with a vampire face. My digi is from my POE series - she is called "Annabel Lee" and is available in my SHOP. The sentiment is a quote from the original novel by Anne Rice.

MACABRE MONDAY - UNLUCKY FOR SOME

Hello Peeps,
Happy July and welcome to MACABRE MONDAY  170  at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE.  Our theme this time is UNLUCKY FOR SOME..... your project must have 13 pieces in total - if you make a card, the base counts as 1, 6 brads counts as 6 etc.

I have made a card. My base card uses a colouring page of The Count from Sesame Street - converted into a PNG -  and I typed 'unlucky for some' several times all over the background. Then I have cut out a further 12 bats and added glitter to them then stuck them on with foam pads, so that makes 13 things in total. I think I got it right anyways hahaha LoL

I wanted to put googly eyes on them but that would have made many more than 13 hee hee.

I hope you will pop over to HDH and play along with us, and also look at the gorgeous creations made by my dungeon Minion teamies :-D
