A BIT OF GREEK ART

 Hello Peeps,

Today I have made a page using the July free image from GECKO GALZ to enter this month's challenge.

I have used a Greek flag, Greek lace and a Greek μαίανδρος *  border for my background.

* Greek: Μαίανδρος is a decorative border constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif. Such a design is also called the Greek fret or Greek key design, although these are modern designations. Μαίανδρος – a river in Asia Minor (present day Turkey) known for its winding course. This is where the English word Meander comes from.

I changed her dress colour to blue to fit my theme.

I have added bunches of blue grapes to decorate.

CRAFTLANDIA MONTHLY CHALLENGE

 Hi Peeps - long time, no speak eh ?  I'm doing OK and my chemo numb fingers are getting much better :-D

I have played around with a journal page, using up an old diary,  to enter the latest CRAFTLANDIA MONTHLY CHALLENGE #7 where the theme is The SEA and the Sponsor is GECKO GALZ.

I have used " UNDER THE SEA " backing paper by SPYDER, " SEAHORSE " from the "SEA LIFE 12 piece Set" by me at IKEsART, a SeaShell Border by MY SCRAP CHICK, a saucy lady from GECKO GALZ - TATTOO SUMMER Craft Kit and two images from GECKO GALZ - NAUTICAL 1 & 2 decoupage pages.

I've got something else I'm working on too so I will be back again later :-D
