I got a really cute FREEBIE from BUGABOO on their FB Fan Page the other day so I used him to make a St Patrick's Day card for my friend in the UK.
I used lots of snippets from my St Paddy's box. These papers were from DOODLE PANTRY St Patrick's Day set (sadly the Shop is now closed).
I coloured the cute Turtle with Spectrum Noir markers and then fussy cut him out.
The Doily is made with a die and then I cut a teeny, thin strip of the green paper to thread through instead of ribbon.
I was " Turtley " inspired by JODIE MACKRELL's card . Instead of adding buttons, I fussy cut a couple of the teeny shamrocks from the backing paper.

ReplyDeleteCute card. Fun Bugaboo image. So glad you shared over at Catch the bug.
ReplyDeleteOh this is just so adorable Ike! Perfect for St Paddy's Day - which I'm ashamed to admit we don't celebrate, despite me being quarter Irish. If we dared venture out to face the shopping hoards, I'd pop out and buy Len some Guinness :)
ReplyDeleteDudley is adorable, even though he's our pup we often look at him and marvel at how lucky we were to pick him from the litter. I'm sure you would adore him too - cheeky little scamp just hopped up onto our bed uninvited with Stinky Monkey the Fourth in his mouth for a bit of relaxation - post his evening meal. He always, but always, talks to Monkey after he's eaten a meal. A bit as if he's giving a Michelin Star rating! If we both get run over by a bus am more than happy to leave instructions that he's to be adopted by you if you like? Ha, i saw the cloud of dust as you disappeared into the distance!
Hugs
