I was hopping through Blogs this morning and I came across a fabulous Challenge for 'INCHIES' where they give you a word and you make an inchie to go with it every week, so that at then end of the year you have a teeny collection of art :-D How coooooool !! Now, I have only ever made one of these before and I have missed the first 3 weeks , but I will catch up with those for my collection later. :-)
So - the word for this week is VILLAGE.
I have used one of my Scenes from my World Tour Series - Greece digis , because that is where I live, and coloured it with Promarkers.... extremely fiddly but very rewarding when you finish :-D
It was a bit hard to photograph and I propped it up with my pencil sharpener LoL :-) Should one put something next to it for scale and to prove that it is an 'inchie' ?????
This scene was photographed up above the village of ΜΑΣΟΥΡΙ (pronounced Massoori) and shows the island of ΤΕΛΕΝΔΟΣ (Telendos) in the background just across the sea. It's actually pretty close to us and there is a grand swim across to it in August :-D Takes about 7 minutes on the ferry boat.
Well - there it is.... something new for me for this year and I think I will try and keep up with the weekly themes. I think I might glaze them all when I have finished and make like a little mosaic plaque :-D
Challenges I am entering:

DeleteThis is beautiful! I have never made an inchie - it is so tiny! I have made one ATC and I found that small, but yet I enjoy making those pocket letter cards, go figure! I know that inchies and twinchies are coming back in trend so I might have to think about trying this. You know if I do, there will be a cat on it haha. Enjoy your weekend, my friend!
