THE CAT LOVERS' BLOG HOP - DAY 1

Hello Peeps and welcome to the Cat Lovers' Blog Hop DAY 1 :-D This is leading up to October 29th - National Cat Day     YaY !!! Well - I have got 15 of the little furry critters, so it would so rude not to participate wouldn't it ?? hahaha

Here is my contribution for Day 1...


The background papers are from my box of Halloween snippets stash and I found that I had just one of these cute cat with broomstick brads :-D The pumpkin is made of clay and was from my good friend CREEPY GLOWBUGG (she makes them).
I coloured the kitty in PSE9 and then printed him multiple times to fussy cut and make a 5 layer 3D image.  I cut the spooky letters from magazines.

The kitty is from DIGI DARLA DESIGNS and is called "Kitten n Cloak". I don't think she is trading any more... the Facebook page is very old. :-(

    Yay! I am so happy to see you at the Cat Lovers Hop! I knew you would be there! This is adorable! I remember Digi Darla's - I think I have every cat image she ever made hehe, but now that's she's closed her shop I hardly ever use them - I forgot about them! Thanks for the reminder - they are adorable and I have made a lot of kitty cards with her images in the past! Love how you coloured this one - it doesn't even look like it's coloured digitally - beautiful job! This kitty is all ready for Halloween! I love your cute embellishments too!     Beautiful card! This is so sweet and colorful! I have 3 all black cats and one tuxedo and I love seeing pretty black kitty cards all year long! Yours is really spectacular!

    Oh, my goodness, Ike!!! This is AMAZING!!! Five, count 'em, FIVE layers to make a 3D image. Sooooooo awesome!!! Amazing highlighting on the kitty, too. Wow. I just love this fun card with all the playful spooky elements. Great job.

    I have several black cats, but none of them has their stripes showing through the dark fur like this one....although I have seen kitty coats like that. It's a very cool look.

    Yikes, so much cuteness in one card, I love it! What's cuter than a little black kitten? How about a little black kitten with a hooded sweater cape on ...oh my goodness! That little clay pumpkin is the perfect companion to your not-at-all spooky cat!

    Superb coloring on the image and I love the fun papers. There are so many cats who need homes that I can easily see having 15 cats. I can only image the amount of cat litter you go through in a month. Bless you for loving kitties!
