Welcome to WOYWW # 204
As you can see I have dragged out the machine to sew fabric instead of paper.... shock horror !!! :-D
I had decided to make some Bunnies for Easter - it's not Easter here in Greece until 5th May - and I was in the process of making the bloomers for the one in the blue dress, when I found out that the local Art Group had done their mini expo/sale LAST weekend and didn't bother to tell me !!!!! Needless to say I am none too pleased and that's putting it mildly. I have been a member for 4 years and it all went a bit to pot when our previous Chairwoman went to Oz 18 months ago. Total disorganization reigns and I have just about had enough of them !!!
Enough growling - here is my pic of what I was doing........
So - now I have bunnies and nothing to do with them. I guess they will just sit in a cupboard and fester :-(
Anyhoo - off to browse and see what the rest of the WOYWW-ers are up to this week.
Thanks for visiting.
If you would like to see more Desks - pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and browse the full list :-D
Well how informative, I assumed Easter was a worldwide date (for those who celebrate it). Love your bunnies, very clever.ReplyDelete
Thanks for visiting the bears already today.
Keep these bunnies til next year.... or send me one! I think they're adorable :)ReplyDelete
You seem really tidy even when you're sewing.... you should see the mess i make with whatever i'm doing.... maybe i should start doing WOYWW.... It might encourage me to be neater and more organised! Much love my friend. xxx
Hahahaha - yeah, but you can't see the floor !!!!!! LoL xxxDelete
Hi - love the bunnies - and yeah I agree keep them til next year - maybe even redress them as Christmas bunnies... who says they have to deliver eggies... LOLReplyDelete
I am a newbie to WOYWW and am so enjoying spending time with all you creative people... see you again soon... Mxx #83
Ooops! I can feel your wrath from over here! Be afraid local art group . . . be VERY afraid!ReplyDelete
Well . . . if you COULD put them in a cupboard and leave them to languish, but if there are any MR bunnies around . . . you may find you have more than you bargained for when you reopen the cupboard!
So sorry to hear about your group falling apart like that and not telling you about the sale. To me, bunnies are great year round, and lots of kids would appreciate them at a local children's hosptial for instance? They are way too cute for a cupboard! Enjoy the day! Winnie#78ReplyDelete
What a shame, your bunnies are gorgeous.ReplyDelete
Enjoy the rest of WOYWW. Susi #65
Sorry to hear about the art group. =( How frustrating! Love the bunnies. I think the one in front of your sewing machine has my name on it...yeah...see right there? Says Sue...plain as day. lol! They are all beautiful. Happy Wednesday! Great desk. SueC#107ReplyDelete
The bunnies are beautiful and I agree they will be great for a number of things, there might even be some little poor ones who would love them. I just went to your website my goodness you're a fabulous artist, the painting are fantastic and your digis are gorgeous. Have a wonderful creative day and thanks for sharing and venting we all need to do that once and a while:):)..ReplyDelete
love those bunnies, you are one talented ladyReplyDelete
Happy WOYWW, have a great week
oh what a shame I am sure you could find some good homes for the bunnies are they are really beautiful and you have put so much work in to them so they can't go in a cupboard. pleaseReplyDelete
Happy WOYWW enjoy the rest of your week and I hope you get plenty of crafting time
Bunnies are always in style I say! Maybe a bunny Etsy shop? They are so cute! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #17ReplyDelete
Hi - bunnies aren't just for Easter - these look loveable at any time of year !ReplyDelete
Would a local charity shop be able to sell them to raise funds or maybe a hospital or children's hospice would love them ?
I find that being grumpy only makes you down (see my blog this week !) so maybe give those bunnies out with love & let the feel good factor come back to you !! Have a great week Ali #4
Oh, what a surprise! Congratulations!ReplyDelete
