CHICKEN CELEBRATION

Hello again,
I have some good news.... my chickens have finally started laying eggs again (after about 3 months).
I thought that my remaining 4 were getting too old and the last lot of eggs I incubated gave me no chicklets :-(       It seems though that one or maybe two of them are tired of being freeloading slackers and are giving the goods :-D LoL

 Anyhoo - continuing on the chicken theme, here are some more ATCs I have made to enter over at Janis'  celebration over at HER PEACEFUL GARDEN for her 60th Birthday celebration.

These are for her CHICKEN ATC Challenge.
Both were made using chicken Cliparts and using Dovecraft 'Hello Spring' 6 x 6 paper pack.
The first one was cut with a teeny white border and has a nest made from jute strands.

This one I printed out 4 times and fussy cut the parts to layer up for a 3D effect with foamies.




I had a thought....... maybe my chickens knew that I was going to make chicken themed ATCs and the eggs are my reward for doing something 'chickeny'  ? hee hee  :-D

    Hooray for your hens laying again. Maybe they are rewarding you!! :) Mine started laying several weeks ago and then the egg-eating began again. :( I haven't had any eggs since. Grrr... I need to rig up something where the eggs will be out of reach of the other jealous hens after they are laid. At least the chickens still enrich the soil of my yard and eat bugs in the warmer months. Still wish they wouldn't eat eggs! They are the baddest hens!! lol...

    Love these sweet chicken ATCs!!! The jute nest on the first one is fabulous and the layering on your second one gives a great look.
