Hi there and wowza doesn't time fly ?. Here we are again at Rudolph Day and only one more to go before the real day :-)
Sandra over at STAMPING FOR PLEASURE runs this little bit of fun for us every month and we have to make a Chrimbo card. These are my pieces for POISONED PEAS PLEASE Challenge 8 - Sugar Skulls/Day of the Dead. We are sponsored by Dilly Beans and I have made 2 projects for you to see.
My first one is a card and the second is an ATC. I was lucky enough to get to choose a couple of images from Dilly Beans and I coloured both of them with pencils and baby oil.
I used "Day of the Dead Frida" and "Lila".

Here's my little Aubergine chap again. I think he's finished withering away now so I am going to dunk him UTEE and keep him foreva' !!! LoL

Happy Monday Peeps,
Today my offering is my DT piece for both SMUDGY ANTICS and HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE  HDH155.
I have used a gravestone as the main base coz at HDH this week our theme is "RIP". This comes from a digital scrapbook kit but I just printed it out as normal after making it the size I wanted.

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics is

"Dia De Los Muertos".

THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE RULES.

There will be no more top 3 or random winner.

Our Design Team will vote for ONE winner and that person will receive both a blog button and prize. You do not have to use a Smeared Ink image to win.  We pick the best of the entries so bring your A-game!

The image is one of my new digis for SMEARED INK... ' Dia de Los Muertos 2' and I coloured her with Copics and Aquamarkers.

See how my little carved aubergine is coming along too !!  Now that the fruit flies have gone, he is drying out nicely and getting uglier by the day LoL  :-D xxx

HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE 154 - BATS IN THE BELFRY

Me again - well it is Monday and you know you get me at least twice ...snort !!
Today for Macabre Monday over at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE we are doing "Bats in the Belfry". Your task is to create a dark, Gothic or Halloween based project that has something to do with Bats. Think belfries, church steeples and all round general battiness !! 
Today, I have made a 3D Batty earring using one of the Bats from "A little Bit Batty" set by Smeared Ink.
I fussy cut him in 5 layers and then stuck him with silicone and dipped him in my melting pot. I had already attached a piece of wire, so I then threaded him up some beads and added an earring hook. Voila !!
Sorry the picture is a bit smeggy, I tried several times, but this is the best I got until the new camera comes. 

I hope you will pop over and see what my Minion chums have created... there are some mindblowing creations to see !!!! Hopefully you might get the urge to play along with us.... you must have a few bats somewhere ??!!!

SMUDGY ANTICS - MOVIE MADNESS

I have actually got my butt in gear and completed my DT projects for this week - YaY !!
Here is my first one... Movie Madness at SMUDGY ANTICS.
We are still doing the weekly Challenges along with 31 Days of Halloween and I must say that all the Girls on that are working like the clappers. There are some awesome pieces on show, so why not pop over at have a look..... 31 Days of Halloween with SMEARED INK at SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM. There are Scavenger Hunt Prizes to be one and the whole thing is a feast for your eyes. Soooo much gorgeous work and a definite inspiration. 
So, today is Movie Madness Day. If you didn't know, I am now an artist for SMEARED INK and I draw exclusive images for them that you can't get anywhere else - some of them on the slightly darker side LoL 
Here's the new stuff :-)  (Click on pic to enlarge)..

This is using one of my latest in the New Releases, done specially for this Challenge. It is inspired by The Cask of Amontillado, which is a story by Edgar Allan POE and was also made into a couple of films.
I coloured my image with Copics, and snagged a clapperboard from the Web. The film strip I bought from Linda at Scrapcat. She has so many cartridges for her Cricut, she sells die-cuts, which is awesome coz I don't have one of those :-)

Now, I hope you will pop over to SMUDGY ANTICS and play along with us this week.Art is inspired by many things and we want to see what kind of inspiration you can get from a movie. Being October, I would suggest a scary or creepy movie of some sort. If you insist on making a Tinkerbell type project - which will surely result in projectile vomiting from Lady B - then feel free to do so.
