HAPPY WOYWW 216.... if you don't know what we're on about here, then pop over to Julia's Blog at the STAMPING GROUND and have a look. It's a great way of nosying round other people's desks to see what they are up to.
Right - so this week it's a shot of what I am doing just now..... making little baggies for my friend who makes jewellery.
In exchange for this mind numbingly tedious task of cutting, scoring, folding and sticking, we usually barter, and this time she is giving me 2 bags of fabric 'offcuts' and a Frappe in town on Thursday morning :-D
OK 50 done and 50 more to go !!!! :-D
See you later and thanks for dropping by :-) xx
Fair exchange indeed - happy WOYWW. Helen 7
ReplyDeleteThat is a fair exchange. happy crafting #12
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty fun exchange! Not sure that I would be able to do this mind numbing job... but you seem to be doing good!
ReplyDeleteOh that does look like a lot of work - surely you could get a die to do all the cutting and scoring - it would make it a bit faster!
ReplyDeleteBernice #23
Your little baggies are brilliant! (Of course!!) Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm #36....how lovely!!
(the face cream must be working)
((Lyn))
That must be one heck of a cup of Frappe'. JK, i think it's great you and your friend barter and trade off. You're half way to your Frappe. Have a great week. (((HUGS)))

WOYWW #41
Hi Ike
ReplyDeletethat is one heck of a job you have going on there but I think your price was fair.
It is great when crafters can share different things like that as not everyone has the same skills.
Sending hugs for WOYWW and hope you enjoy the rest of your week
Ria #45
Must be a good friend, bags looks great and I am sure she will appreciate them
ReplyDeleteBridget #24
You bags look great, and bartering is always so much fun when both parties gain goodies.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and I hope you enjoy your Frappe!
Krisha #22
One hand washes the other. Love the exchange.
ReplyDeleteHugs DesÃre {Doing Life}
I wondered why there was so much white - thought perhaps you'd got a job lot to alter! Good for you..that Frappe will go down really well...let us ooh and ahh over the fabrics too huh?!
ReplyDeleteI think barter is a brilliant idea. I just made a card for a lady who lives in Spain. She wanted to pay, but I suggested sending me lots of Spanish ephemera - labels, stamps all sorts instead. Hope you enjoy that frappe! Julie Ann #17 x
ReplyDeletelove to barter but in this case I am glad it is you and not me! 50 more and you are off for that Frappe! Have a great week. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #71
ReplyDeleteoh my what stamina you have, but they are pretty bags and well worth the swap. Soon be done (hopefully)
ReplyDeleteLynda #1
What a great trade off, I think that this sort of trade/barter system is fabulous for all types of things. Enjoy your frappe and can't wait to see what you create with your fabric offcuts! Happy WOYWW! Danie #74

ReplyDeleteKaren #77
