WINDY MONDAY

Hello All,
It's windy again here and a fair bit of the dreaded 'Red Dust' floating about :-(
Consequently, I am hiding in my craft room hahaha :-D
I decided to blow the cobwebs off my Silhouette CURIO this morning and made a Tag using a cutting file Bear from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN. I must admit that I made the bear pretty small and the machine grunged up the flowers and words. Maybe I don't have the settings right cuz I have a new blade in there but it just chewed the flowers up :-(
This sweet Bear comes with these great backing papers, so I used them all.
The flowers were made with a die cut and the ribbons are scraps from my stash.

I've got some other bits to Post later, so I'll be back.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY PEEPS

Hi All - here we are half way through yet another week and the end of March is looming. !  I don't know where the time goes :-)

Today I have a little Easter/Spring piece for you. I have used a recent Freebie digi I got from MISS RACH, which is called " Easter Basket Sheep "
For the background I have used papers from CAJOLINE - Easter Papers and followed a Sketch from SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY -  SSW2.
I  printed multiple sizes of the same image to make a Flock :-) I coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers. The corner flowers are from my local haberdashery shop.

SOME CARD COMMISSIONS

Me again,
Here's the two cards I made this week for a lady to send to Sweden.
Her daughter is horse mad and the other is for her son. I always think cards for men are difficult.... maybe it's because men don't really look/appreciate them and usually just chuck them away. :-( I find it difficult to get mega inspired about a bloke's card unless they are someone who has a particular hobby/theme that they are really into - then they appreciate it more :-)

I was trawling for manly card ideas and I came across one by KAREN DAY that I have CASE'd. I didn't have the same papers but I quite like my effort - even if it does look a bit like Pyjamas  hahaha

The second card is for her daughter who likes horses. I tried making one of those pop-out centres - it's a bit if a bug to get it to fold away smoothly AND in the right place LoL.

Here's a Mothers' Day card I was asked to make for a friend. I used bluetits picture for a background, die cut edge and lilac stamps. I coloured the stamp with Promarkers.

GOSH IT'S WINDY !

Hello Sunday Peeps,
Well - it's super windy here and they say we will be getting torrential rain..... again !!!  Then we are going to be hit BIG time with the red dust from the Sahara :-(   Needless to say I am not washing down my patios/house or cleaning the pool just yet !!! LoL

I am hiding down in my craft room today - even the Doggo wasn't keen on his walk this morning. We nearly got blown over a couple of times !

I have done a couple of card commissions this week and I decided to play with the latest LIMITED RUNS Progressive Challenge image image this morning.
I copied the Sketch from Sunday Stamps - Sketch Fun. The background papers are a set I got from PRETTY GRAFIK called "Spring Owls Papers". 
I printed a big chicken and then resized for smaller ones. I coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers to look like my own chickens who are English Light Sussex breed :-D

    

I'll be back in a mo' once I have sorted out the photos for the card commissions :-)

CAT ON A SHELF

Hello All and happy Sunday,
Here I am with my entry for the Progressive Challenge for March with Gerda Steiner.
The image this month is CAT ON A BOOKSHELF.

I have made a window scene  using a garden photo at the back, overlaid with a die cut to look like a fancy window. The curtains, fancy pelmet and wallpaper are made using papers from the IMAGINE THAT Valentine Fundraiser set.
I coloured the kitty and bookshelf using Spectrum Noir markers and raised him with foamies.

FLUFFY AND CUTE

Hi All,
I managed to get a walk in some fresh air this morning as it's not raining (yet !!!)  LoL

This afternoon I have been using my Promarkers to colour a new image I bought - AURORA WINGS - " Mama It's So Fluffy".
I cut it out with dies (don't know the names sorry. ) One is a stitched square and the other is a pretty frame, and a great 2 piece fern/leaf set. I got them from FIKI at her CRAFTY KITTY CAT SHOP.
I used the smallest one and stamped the sentiment using my new 'Stamp Perfect'  by Hampton Art  :-)
The flowers are from a sprig of fake apple blossom that I got at a local e1 shop :-D I pulled them off the plastic stalks and glued some pretty beads in the centre to hold them back together :-D

DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING

Hello Peeps.... it's the dreaded Monday again and it's still raining and flooding here in Greece :-(

I am hiding in my craft room again, and today I decided to play with some digital Scrapbooking - which I haven't done in a looooong time :-D 
I bought a cute set from DRAGON's LAIR DESIGNS and a little piggy digi from them too.  If you buy the Scrapkit you get a free Add On. :-)
This set is called "Soft Summer Mini Kit" and the digi image is called "Piggy Love".
Everything was coloured and prepared in Photodraw.

It took me a while to shuffle everything from front to back etc. as I hadn't done any digi scrapbooks for a while, but I had great fun :-)
