GOSH IT'S WINDY !

Hello Sunday Peeps,
Well - it's super windy here and they say we will be getting torrential rain..... again !!!  Then we are going to be hit BIG time with the red dust from the Sahara :-(   Needless to say I am not washing down my patios/house or cleaning the pool just yet !!! LoL

I am hiding down in my craft room today - even the Doggo wasn't keen on his walk this morning. We nearly got blown over a couple of times !

I have done a couple of card commissions this week and I decided to play with the latest LIMITED RUNS Progressive Challenge image image this morning.
I copied the Sketch from Sunday Stamps - Sketch Fun. The background papers are a set I got from PRETTY GRAFIK called "Spring Owls Papers". 
I printed a big chicken and then resized for smaller ones. I coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers to look like my own chickens who are English Light Sussex breed :-D

    

I'll be back in a mo' once I have sorted out the photos for the card commissions :-)

CAT ON A SHELF

Hello All and happy Sunday,
Here I am with my entry for the Progressive Challenge for March with Gerda Steiner.
The image this month is CAT ON A BOOKSHELF.

I have made a window scene  using a garden photo at the back, overlaid with a die cut to look like a fancy window. The curtains, fancy pelmet and wallpaper are made using papers from the IMAGINE THAT Valentine Fundraiser set.
I coloured the kitty and bookshelf using Spectrum Noir markers and raised him with foamies.

FLUFFY AND CUTE

Hi All,
I managed to get a walk in some fresh air this morning as it's not raining (yet !!!)  LoL

This afternoon I have been using my Promarkers to colour a new image I bought - AURORA WINGS - " Mama It's So Fluffy".
I cut it out with dies (don't know the names sorry. ) One is a stitched square and the other is a pretty frame, and a great 2 piece fern/leaf set. I got them from FIKI at her CRAFTY KITTY CAT SHOP.
I used the smallest one and stamped the sentiment using my new 'Stamp Perfect'  by Hampton Art  :-)
The flowers are from a sprig of fake apple blossom that I got at a local e1 shop :-D I pulled them off the plastic stalks and glued some pretty beads in the centre to hold them back together :-D

DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING

Hello Peeps.... it's the dreaded Monday again and it's still raining and flooding here in Greece :-(

I am hiding in my craft room again, and today I decided to play with some digital Scrapbooking - which I haven't done in a looooong time :-D 
I bought a cute set from DRAGON's LAIR DESIGNS and a little piggy digi from them too.  If you buy the Scrapkit you get a free Add On. :-)
This set is called "Soft Summer Mini Kit" and the digi image is called "Piggy Love".
Everything was coloured and prepared in Photodraw.

It took me a while to shuffle everything from front to back etc. as I hadn't done any digi scrapbooks for a while, but I had great fun :-)

FROGGY - GO GREEN

My second piece for today is a St Patrick's Day tag to send to a friend :-)
I have used  'CARL O'BRIAN' by SCRIBBLES DESIGNS.  I paper pieced him with some croc skin and enhanced that with Copics, and his hat was done using one of the backing papers.
I cut the card from heavy cardstock. The background papers are from DOODLE PANTRY St Paddy Digi Paper Set . (No longer trading)
I fussy cut Carl and some shamrocks and then I made a little ticket. I tied on a floral button, a beaded stick pin and added some feathers to finish.

I am going to brave the weather down and walk the Doggo down the mountain where I shall have coffee with a chum. psssst.... I've heard she's made cake LoL

CAN YOU SEE THE CAT ?

Good morning - I hope you are getting a bit of a crafting 'fix' this weekend.  It's still raining here... I didn't even get down to Town as usual on Thursday because it was flooded :-(

Today I have a kitty card to show you.... he's hiding. Can you find him ???   LoL
I have used two images from SCRIBBLES DESIGNS -  'KITTY FACE' and 'FLOWER POT'.  I put it together in Photodraw. I made multiple pot images and then hid the kitty in the middle before printing it out. I coloured everything with Spectrum Noir markers then cut it out with a stitched circle die. I gave him a set of teeny googly eyes :-D
The background papers are from IMAGINE THAT - SPRING KITTY Set.

Well, it's still dark and very early here so I will pop up and see what the weather is going to do. Hopefully the poor dog will get a walk today. He's a bit of a wuss and won't go out in the rain LoL

PROGRESSIVE KITTY

Hi All and happy Friday,

I am here this morning with my card for the LIMITED RUNS FB PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE. This time it uses this sweet kitty called 'FLUFFY', which is their image for this month.
I have coloured him with Derwent Fine Art Pencils. The backing papers are from First Edition - Animal Antics 8"x8", and the dies are a lovely set from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn.

  

In my Kitty Clan (23 of them) I seem to have had an influx of Gingers recently and I LUV Gingers, so this is a little tribute to them.

At the moment I have Sammy who is about 18 yrs old, Cheesy Puff, Mini Sam, Louis, Clynt - who is a pale ginger and 2 ginger/whites - Kolin and Jelly Bean. There is also a small kittling who creeps in and does a cozy in the cat beds. He is not touchable yet but always announces himself with a small meuw that sounds like "It's Me" so I am calling him Smee  LoL.

CHICKEN CELEBRATION

Hello again,
I have some good news.... my chickens have finally started laying eggs again (after about 3 months).
I thought that my remaining 4 were getting too old and the last lot of eggs I incubated gave me no chicklets :-(       It seems though that one or maybe two of them are tired of being freeloading slackers and are giving the goods :-D LoL

Anyhoo - continuing on the chicken theme, here are some more ATCs I have made to enter over at Janis'  celebration over at HER PEACEFUL GARDEN for her 60th Birthday celebration.

These are for her CHICKEN ATC Challenge.
Both were made using chicken Cliparts and using Dovecraft 'Hello Spring' 6 x 6 paper pack.
The first one was cut with a teeny white border and has a nest made from jute strands.

This one I printed out 4 times and fussy cut the parts to layer up for a 3D effect with foamies.

I had a thought....... maybe my chickens knew that I was going to make chicken themed ATCs and the eggs are my reward for doing something 'chickeny'  ? hee hee  :-D
