QUOTH THE RAVEN QUEST #52 - MIDWAY REMINDER

Good morning,
I am here with my piece for the Midway Reminder of our current Quest over at QUOTH THE RAVEN - #52  ANYTHING POEs.

I have used a web image of POE, crow tree stamp by De-Stempelwinkel and a crow stamp I cannot remember who it's by. The Text used for The Raven poem by POE is called October Crow.

Also - if you are a POE fan, you can get a double whammy by entering your piece at QTR and also in the celebratory Blog Hop being held to commemorate the birthday of Edgar Allan POE, hosted by Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda.

QUOTH THE RAVEN CHALLENGE #39 - ANYTHING Poes + DT CALL

Hello Peeps,

Just popping in to tell you that our latest Quest #39 is up and ready over at QUOTH THE RAVEN. In case you don't know - this site is dedicated to the works of EDGAR ALLAN POE and we range from pretty/pretty to dark and gloomy .... a bit like his ever changing moods I guess :-D
So this latest Challenge is ANYTHING POES... get it ????? :-)
We accept all types of crafty creations - the only rule is that your creation MUST have some connection to EDGAR ALLAN POE in order to qualify for being voted Winner or TOP 3.

We are also having a DT CALL which will run through this Challenge - ie; 1 month, so if you want to try out for it, then kindly leave (DT) behind your name in the LINKY. :-)

There is a gorgeous montage of pieces made by the Minions of The Master in the past to inspire you and also show you the diversity of projects that have been made for QTR. I hope you will pop over and have a look and even better - play along with us :-D

QUOTH THE RAVEN CHALLENGE #35 - WEEK 3...ANYTHING POES

Hello Peeps,
Well, I am back from the UK and have also had my lovely Daughter and her family out last week - which was wonderful. Now I have to get back to normal ..boo hoo !!!

Anyways, I was totally so late for posting anything for QTR Challenge #35, so here I am with my piece. This month we are doing 'ANYTHING POES', so you can make what you like.
I have done another double page spread of my altered mobile phone instruction book.
I had used a die cut left-over as a mask at some point and I loved the effect that was left on it and decided to use it. I also got out my POE set of rubber stamps by SMEARED INK and a snippet of lace - et Voila !!

Die cut left-overs from snippets box.

Well, I may have some more to post later as I had a couple of card commissions recently, but I'll probably post them tomorrow. :-D

HELLO AGAIN PEEPS

Hi everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed your Holiday festivities :-)
I am here today to show you my latest creation for QUOTH THE RAVEN - CHALLENGE #28.... ANYTHING POEs.
My Teamies have produced some wonderful things for you to see and we are getting ready to announce the Winner of our 100 Followers Blog Candy (slight technical hitch, which I am presently trying to resolve !!!)

Anyhoo - here is my piece this time...

I have used one of my images "Poe Bust" which is available from my SHOP and have also used one of my new Tonic Studios Dies that I treated myself to for Chrimbo  :-D  This one is called 'Butterfly Princess'.

The backing is some green mirri card and I attached a pocket calendar to the front :-)

I hope you will come over and see us and play along - ANYTHING POEs... so long as your creation is related somehow to Edgar Allan POE.

QUOTH THE RAVEN - QUEST 21

Hello Beloveds and welcome to Quest 21 over at QUOTH THE RAVEN ....... ANYTHING 'POES'.
Before I show you my project I wish to say huuuuuge CONGRATS to our Winner - FIONA aka Anubis and our Top 3 ... Croms, Julia and Keren.

Now I actually got my butt in gear this time and managed to scrape out a project. I have made an altered box. This was a little box I made ages ago for Valentines Day probably and I decided to Poe it up :-)
I used my 'Raven Poe' as the top piece (available from my SHOP here). Around the sides I used 'Flower King Horizontal Border' from Smeared Ink. I used black distress ink round all the sides, and added some blue/black roses to match up with the skull border.
I am going to use this box to put a little giftette in that I am making for a chum :-)

We had a fabulous number of peeps play along with us last month, and I hope you will pop over to see the gorgeous creations my Teamies have made for you to see, and maybe even play along with us this month.

Just remember - it says Anything POES, so your project must be related to Edgar Allan Poe or his works in order to qualify for the Prize. :-)

Sheesh - I have had such a day with the damned internet.... I suppose it could be the weather or the fact that it's a National Holiday here on my little Greek island - but it's driven me nuts !!!
At last here I am with the deets about Quest 19 over at QUOTH THE RAVEN...... this time we are doing "ANYTHING POES" .  Now that means you can make anything you like but it MUST be related some how to Edgar Allan POE and his works in order to be eligible for the Prize. We'd love you to pop over and have a look and play along with us :-D
Firstly let me congratulate our Winner from Quest 18..... Anna Lilja and our Top 3..... Louise M, Wendy of  Paper Whims and Vee. Many congrats Girls and thank you all for playing.

Here is my DT piece for this Quest - a Steampunk Poe clock that I made from an old CD andthe base is a disk from an angle grinder :-D

We are here again for QUEST 17 - ANYTHING POES over at QUOTH THE RAVEN. Congrats to JULIA for winning Quest 16. :-)
This time you can make anything you wish provided is has some connection to Edgar Allan POE. Simple eh ?!! Our Quest will run for 1 month so you have plenty of time to come and join us :-D
Here is my creation this time...

I used up some snippets for my background and the label has paper from Crafty Chaos Designs.

The POE digis are both mine and are available at my SHOP. The image I have used is the Prize for this Quest :-)
