A BIT WILD, WET & WINDY

Hello Peeps,
Well - the weather has really turned today - wet, windy and grey.
I decided to make a little scene of what it was like at the beach this morning !!!

I used DE-STEMPELWINKEL - "At The Beach Plate #32" for this piece. I decided to try the sea stamp upside down for my clouds at the top - it didn't come out so bad :-) I tried to disguise the straight line by adding to it in pencil to show what our sky looks like when we are going to have a Tornado or a Water Spout. It gets very black in a totally straight line across the sky and then you can actually see the spouts forming in the cloud line and then dropping down to the sea - like the one I drew in the middle of the scene.
The whole thing is lightly coloured with Prismacolour pencils.

I used the seascape up the right way at the bottom and added a couple of other islands on the horizon. You can only see these here on days when it is going to rain.... it's weird that they suddenly appear.. a bit like Brigadoon !!! :-)

There weren't many birds flying - just a couple - and some just taking shelter on the beach and the wind was really bending the palms !!
Glad to be indoors on a day like this :-)

Keep warm Chums :-)

Cor . . . I've got goosebumps just thinking about your cold stormy weather! Blinking cold here too . . . but sunny thankfully.

What a good idea to use the stamp both ways up for different things. You ARE clever!

The scene is beautifully stamped, but the weather isn't inviting to go outdoors! Great use of the stamps, the scene looks very realistic! Thank your for joining the challenge at De Stempelwinkel again!

Funny - I thought of Brigadoon too the other day LOL Would like to watch it again ... What a super gorgeous card you created! I so love the atmosphere - as long as it is outside ;-) You caught it just perfectly and the drawing looks like it belongs to the stamp images. I so love!! this card. Thanks so much for joining our challenge again. I'm always excited about what you'll come up with. Hugs, Suzanne xxxxxx
