HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE DT CREATION

Hi there spooky Peeps,
I am rushing to get this one up and published too. !!!
This is my DT piece for the second half of our current Challenge over at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE - "The Nights Are Drawing In". Halloween is quickly creeping up on us, so we are all getting prepared for the fun and spooks :-D

I have converted an old box into a sort of window.
I used a stencil and some home made paste to do the brickwork and the coloured it with acrylic paints.
The ivy is done with my "Ivy Corner" digital image from IKEsART.
I added a glow in the dark plastic skellie down the bottom to look like he was creeping out of the crypt.

The crypt portcullis was cut using a Silhouette SVG file.

On the top there is a gargoyle made with a DELICIOUS DOODLES image - "GROTESQUE GARGOYLE" and I printed him several times and fussy cut him to make him 3D. When I had finished layering him up, I dipped him in my Melting Pot. :-)

Right inside at the back I have used my "Castle Room" digital image from IKEsART.

I did put a candle in there but for the life of me, I couldn't get the darn photograph to come out properly :-(

MACABRE MONDAY AT HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE

Good morning Peeps,
Welcome to Macabre Monday over at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE where we are on Week 2 of our theme "ROTTEN ROMANCE" which is sponsored by DELICIOUS DOODLES.

I have used Teri's new boy - 'Grotesque Cupid' put together with a poor little shot cupid from the Graphics Fairy (I think). The background paper is called 'Slasher Black' from SMEARED INK. My background card was cut with a Martha Stewart Heart Punch. Sentiment I made myself using the 'Blood' Font.

Good Morning and welcome to HDH 145 Macabre Monday at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE. This week we have a 'Photo Inspiration' Challenge for you.

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece

that is inspired in some way by this photo

I have made an ATC and the images I have used are from Smeared Ink's "Mad Science" set (with a little extra added bottles Tilda.... snort !!! and  "Skull & Roses Corner" from Delicious Doodles.
I coloured the roses with Copics and the bottles etc. were coloured digitally in PSE9.
I apologise for the poor quality of this ATC pikkie but I think my camera is giving up the ghost.. it messed around the other day and now it's just over-exposing, so I had to scan this.... bummer !!! :-(
