A BIT OF WINTER FUN

Hello Peeps,
I am starting to think about getting some Chrimbo cards done and whilst browsing the Blog Challenges, I came across the latest SCRIBBLES CHALLENGE #71 - REINDEER GAMES and it just gave me an idea.
Now, I LUV me some Scribbles and I am especially fond of the Wool family - so how could I not resist dressing them up for the occasion hahaha.
I have used Mr Wool Smiley , Woolley Chorus Line and the Freebie Rudy for my card.
They all look very jolly dressed as Reindeer, but I don't think that Rudy is very impressed LoL :-D

IS IT THE REAL LIFE - IS IT JUST FANTASY ?????

Good morning Peeps,
So - I have finally finished painting my Roof so hopefully that will be it for another 6 years :-D I am a bit stiff now with my arthritis and have a few blisters, but at least I finished before this windy snap came and before the rains :-D 
I was inspired to make something for the new SoSS Challenge which is all about Fantasty. 
Now, I don't know if you know this but I have 23 cats in and around my house and just 1 poor solitary Doggo (unless I am fostering another LoL) so I think he feels a little outnumbered.

I got this Freebie doggo last month from ALL DRESSED UP and he reminds me a bit of my lad. I coloured him up and then made him a fantasy thought bubble which uses a picture from TLC Creations ( I think)  called 1890 Cat Lady hahahaha
The backing paper and frame are both from MEINLILAPARK.

I'm not saying my dog is happy with his fantasy but I am sure he never expected his rescued life to be exactly like this - or maybe he did eh ??? LoL

A CARD COMMISSION

Hello Peeps,
I was asked to make a card with 'handbags & shoes etc', so I went searching for some suitable Papers as I don't have much 'girlie' schtuff.
I came across an excellent Etsi Shop:  FROU FROU CRAFTS where I found exactly what I wanted in this gorgeous paper set. The papers come in A4 and also 12" x 12" :-D In my excitement, I didn't think to get the Clip Art Set that comes with it, but I might just treat myself later :-D

I decided to make one of those Box Cards but I did it big - and the whole thing measures 9" x 9", so I had to make an envelope to go with it hahaha.

I cut out some of the flowers from one of the papers to put on the panels and I made a sentiment Tag by enlarging part of another paper :-D

I have a couple more orders that I am working on just now, so I will be back to show you later :-)

In my bestest Greek  I have written this as meaning " The clouds will bring rain, but I will be your sunshine".
I have made a wee card to cheer a little Friend of mine :-D

I got this lovely little clear stamp set as a gift from my Friend FIKI from BAD KITTYS CRAFT ROOM. The stamps are small and I usually make big cards, so I must admit that I sat and stared at this set for a long while.
However - FIKI is really very good at making cloud backgrounds on her cards, so I thought I would have a go at that ! Not as good as hers but they came out OK. LoL

I used a die cut for the houses and added some lights in their windows. Obviously not everyone is home yet and the house on the far left in a newly built Greek house that hasn't had any doors or windows put in yet :-D

I stamped and coloured the animals and elements and then fussy-cut them. The raindrops are covered with sticky back plastic to make them 'wet look'.

I don't know who the maker of the little stamp set is as it came with no labels.

Just to let you know - I still have wonderful sunshine here and it was 23 degrees today when I went down to the Town :-D

SOME CARD COMMISSIONS

Hello Peeps and happy November :-)
I am getting back into Blogging my stuff again having finished 31 Days of Halloween LoL
Today I have a couple of card commissions.
The first is for a guy who likes mountain climbing and my friend wanted him with a laptop LoL
I used a clip art mountain background and water coloured a guy with a laptop. I superimposed the Windows logo onto his screen. Some of the mountains were printed twice and fussy cut and put on with 3D foamies for depth. I always add a little mountain goat to his cards :-D Finally I added some glitter on the snow.

This one is for her grand daughter who is into the darker side of things, so thought she would like this one. 

I have used ' The Queen of Hearts ' by THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE, (they don't appear to be trading now)

I used some red background and tore it, then laced it together with some cord. The paper underneath was spattered with some red ink.  Then I made a doily using parchment paper which I hand drew the pattern onto with parchment craft tools. The teeny flowers were from my stash. 

I have a new Challenge just started over on my IKEsART FaceBook Fan Page and there is a new image for this month - Scared Kitty...........
