Here I am to show my first project of 2015 - a page in my journal that I started to make last year. I only got as far as the cover but here's a quick reminder.....
So - I had this thought - due to the fact that the last year whizzed by so quick..... Is it because I am getting older ? Summer holidays seemed to last forever when I was young !!
I decided to make a journal page for my "Book of My Mind's Eye" about flying time, and here it is.....
Now - is the bunny coming or going ???? What do you think ?
I used;
DeStempelwinkel stamp - Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland Plate #48
Printed multiple times from 1 single inking and then coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.
Backgrounds stamps by Lost Coast Designs - 'Large Perspective' and 'Spiderwebs'
The background stamps were overstamped on each other with black ink and the bunnies were fussycut and stuck on slightly overlapping.
Thank you for stopping by :-D xx

Thank you for entering our Challenge at De Stempelwinkel! The rabbit is going backwards I think, but I'm not sure!
ReplyDeleteHe is from Non Sequitur, and I think that the "Large perspective" stamp is (almost) the same as a stamp from Non Sequitur that I called "Colonnade".
Thank you my friend for entering our 1st challenge at DE-STEMPELWINKEL STAMPERS CHALLENGE.
ReplyDeleteThe rabbit is from de-stempelwinkel but its 'non- sequitur' branded.... No worries you qualify to enter!
I love you weird sense of humour... keep safe love always xxx
Hmm, hard to decide but I think, unless he is reversing, the bunny is definitely going! x
ReplyDeleteVery thought-provoking, Ike! What does it say about me that I think your bunny is backing up since he is rather invisible to start and then brightly colored at the end? I have noticed time going faster as I've gotten older, but then one day I did have an epiphany about it as I caught myself taking forever at something that used to be quick and routine: it's not time going faster at all, of course, but just as you said, as we get older, we start slowing down! Your card is incredible! I wish all the best for a happy, healthy, and evenly-paced new year!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice card. Good job on the rabbit. Thanks for entering the challenge.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a great idea to illustrate your thoughts (which I share, btw ;-)). Yes, it was the summer holidays that seemed to last forever in earlier days, now for it's Winter LOL I love this page. Thanks so much for joining our first de stempelelwinkel challenge. Have a great year. Suzanne xxxx
