Hurray for RUDOLPH DAY - what an excellent way to use up all those odd and sods I have lying around from Chrimbo :-) The idea is we make a card for the 25th of each month and that will give us a head start for this year's festive season :-D
Here's one with an embossed snowflake background and little snippets of some of my papers I used this year. I had a couple of snowflakes too which were cut by a friend of mine on her Cricut.
The backing card is actually a kind of pearly glossy pale grey but it doesn't actually come out well on the photo !
This baby is for the Rudolph Challenge over at SCRAPS OF LIFE BY SCRAPPYMO as she has been good enough to take over this Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Challenges I am entering:
Rudolph Day - January
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #243 - Snowmen
Snippet's Playground Wk #161 - 2nd entry
This is just scrumptious and a FABULOUS way to use up so many of those pesky little snippets too

This is fabulous! Love your design! I need to get moving on my Rudolph Day card!
ReplyDeleteHi there Ike, I sorted out the link and am taking this to be your snippets card. Brilliant and I do love all those lovely banners - along with the jolly snowman of course!
ReplyDeleteI can't fathom it out, if I have other windows open when I come to look at your blog then my laptop goes into meltdown as it looks as if it ain't too keen on something or other :)
Anyhow, lovely to see you and please keep playing!
Hugs
Di xx
It's my 2nd entry - sorry I forgot to link it here... done it now :-)
DeleteI don't think it's me alone ...... I've had trouble with other people's Blog comment boxes too. I will wait and see if it all clears up (don't really want to lose my pusscat, but if he has to go then so be it !! ) xx
Hi Ike . . .really great use of your snippets to make this WONDERFUL Rudolph Day card.
ReplyDeleteI saw Di's comment above, and I have to say that for the past couple of weeks, I've often had to have 3 attempts or so at getting a comment to publish. Almost as soon as I start typing, the screen zaps my words, blinks at me and I have to scroll down and have another go. I wondered if it was anything to do with your blinkies and large amount of info on the page in general??? Just thinking out loud . . . I don't know the cause, but it's a recent thing!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
I don't think it's just me as I have been having problems on other Blogs. When I go to type my comment nothing comes out - or at least I can't see anything, but the cursor moves along. !!! It's like using invisible ink !!! Usually if I leave it for a morning or something I can then go in and type ! I am pretty sure it's not just my Blog that's messing up.
DeleteHa . . . obviously contrary . . . the above comment went in first time NO PROBLEM!
ReplyDeletethis is fabulous Ginny x

ReplyDeleteVery pretty Christmas card. Love all of the banners hanging down. Nice embossing folder, it is too bad we can see your pearl paper, however thanks for saying something about it because I can imagine it and now I see it. :) I like how you added the light tan color in there with your blues. The snowflakes are very pretty. I LOVE the snowman! Great card!
ReplyDeletePeace,
Kristy
I love it. I may cheat and buy all the Christmas cards this year.
ReplyDeleteThis iw wo pretty. I love the ideaof tucking the wee snowman onto the snowflake! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking part in my first Rudolph Days challenge of 2015.
You've used a really fantastic design for your snippets for this card, Ike! I'm bookmarking this one. I love the banners on the bottom and the e/f on the top and then how you've popped and layered your festive snowman on the card like a pretty corsage!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI love all those snippety flags and the lovely embossed snowflakes. Jolly looking snowman as well.
