This image is called "DOG WASH".
I have been experimenting with different techniques and stuff for colouring.
Here I am with my 2nd creation.
For this one, I 'paper-pieced' his bath tub using Duck Tape. I used a sort of stippling effect with my Promarkers to colour him in and then used Stickles on just some of the bubbles. I printed/coloured and cut out the Puppy 3 times and then fussy cut and 3D'd him with silicone.
The Frame I used is 'Puppy Paws Frame' by Kim Cameron Designs.
I had a bit of a laugh too when experimenting with some Puffy paint.... the doggy didn't come out exactly how I thought it would and he looks down right scary in fact hahahaha LoL :-D
Needless to say - I won't be trying that again LoL
Right-Ho.... see you later xxxx

I pulled up the picture so I could see it closer and marvelled at how you achieved the textured technique on the tub only to find out it was duck tape. That is stinkin' hilarious. Love the stippling effect you used on the pup but do have to agree that puffy puppy could have his own horror show. He almost looks like he is sporting an evil psychotic grin and of course my mind would go to all the horrific damage he could do with those claws and teeth. Okay, moving on before I scare myself further...
ReplyDeleteLove the different sizes in the paw paper, I'll have to try that myself. I've been toying with making a set in blue/brown and pink/brown, it's nice to see all the different colour combos of the papers you've used for these two cards. Cool dog bone embellishment. Is that real or digital? It looks so dimensional. Anyway, I am so glad that you had the opportunity to enter a second card into our Pitter Patter of Little Paws Challenge and of course add it to the Animal Planet one. Good luck in both the draws my friend!
Hugs,
Lisa
I love your different colouring techniques Ike. Thank you for including the photo of the puffy paint one too - he does look scary. Don't think I'll be trying that either (unless I want a scary effect!). Thank you for joining the Pitter Patter of Little Paws Challenge at Scribbles Designs.
