POE APPRECIATION DAY BLOG HOP 2019 - DAY 3

Hello POE Peeps,

Here I am with DAY 3 of the 4th Annual POE APPRECIATION DAY BLOG HOP as hosted by the amazing LEIGH SB DESIGNS.

Here is my piece for Day 3 - I have tried my hand with a Mixed Media piece.

It's not something I am very comfortable with but practice makes perfect is what they say isn't it ? :-D

My canvas is 6" x 9". I covered it with Gesso and then on a crumpled tissue. I used a variety of sprays and glitter and then stenciled in black with Dutch Doobadoo stencil 'Pop Art '. Then I stuck on all sorts of wintery things I had and made a floral/bead corner. The feathers I made using plaster in a cake decorating mould :-)

The main image is the new " THE WINTER RAVEN " from LeighSBDesigns. I did her all in black and grey. I tried printing her on soft tissue type paper but my laser printer kept eating it LoL In the end I printed her out on ordinary paper and did a wet torn edge.
