TAG SWAP

Good Morning Peeps and Happy Saturday,

I have popped in to show you a Tag I have made for the April Swap over at IKE's ART FAN PAGE. The Theme is "Dark Skies". I have used creepy papers and images for the background from iTkUpiLLi - 'Spritus Mortis' Set.
The skull has been printed and fussy cut 6 times and then layered up to make him 3D. The Goblet was printed 3 times and fussy cut layered too.
The Skelly hand Goblet is a new image I got from LISA TYRELL. I coloured the Goblet with gold and silver metallic pens, but of course it doesn't show up well on here - if you adjust the light you get mega glare !! Can't win really. :-(

TAG SWAP AT IKE'sART FAN CLUB

Today I am showing you a Tag I made for our Feb/March Round Robin TAG SWAP that we are having over on IKE'sART FAN PAGE on FACEBOOK. Unfortunately, the sign up is closed now but everyone is beavering away making their tags.
I have done mine and since I posted it up yesterday and it is no longer a surprise for Lisa, I am showing you all today.

The Theme was.. "All About Me".. so I chose things related to my life just now.

On the front I used my image called 'DAISY SEEDS'. I printed it and then used a pokey tool to prick all the way around the outline and then flipped it over to use just the pricked out side. I saw this on a Tutorial the other day at SPLITCOAST STAMPERS WEEKLY INKLING #404 - No Line Piercing. I coloured it slightly with copics and then sewed seed beads in two colours of orange for the centres.

I sewed corrugated card to some burlap and put that on and used my image 'KITTY 1' on the top of that and one of my highly cherished cat brads. !!!

The seed packed is mounted on top of the braid that runs either side making a small pocket, and there are 2 more tags in there with secret things on !! I will not spoil Lisa's surprise by telling you. :-)

On the back of the tag I added some of the things that I really like - the horror film section contains an image drawn by my friend MONIQUE.... Jigsaw... and I coloured him digitally.

Well, I am really pleased with the result. :-) I hope Lisa will like it.
