Hello All and welcome to Challenge #234 over at OSAAT. This time we are doing EASTER or PASSOVER (for me anyhow).
The Sponsor for this week's Challenge is StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the April 5 image Prize Pack :-)
The image I chose to work with this time is called "GRIM REAPER" from REECES SCRAP PIECES. I made a little scene of him turning up at Passover and having to go home empty handed. Hahaha LoL
For those who don't know what Passover is all about, it commemorates the story of the Exodus as described in the Hebrew Bible especially in the Book of Exodus, in which the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. The Bible tells that G_D helped the Children of Israel escape from their slavery in Egypt by inflicting ten plagues upon the ancient Egyptians before the Pharaoh would release his Israelite slaves; the tenth and worst of the plagues was the death of the Egyptian first-born.
The Israelites were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a slaughtered spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the Angel of Death knew to pass over the first-born in these homes, hence the English name of the holiday.
Watch out.... here he comes !!!!!
So there you have it Peeps :-)
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will pop over to see what my OSAAT Sisters have made to show you. So, why not get all your Easter goodies out and come on over and join us at #234 Anything Goes with EASTER / PASSOVER.
