I just realized I forgot to put up my mixed media piece that I made for my GDT spot at QUIRKY CRAFTS Challenge #8 - MIXED MEDIA MAYHEM I thought I was going up this week but it was actually last week !!
I got to use Simple Adorable Flower Girl by Cheryl Alger at SQUIGGLEFLY.
I started with some pink card and then stuck on some corrugated card, which I wetted so I could peel some back. I used Perfect Pearls Mist on this but it doesn't really show here. Then I used some die cut left-overs as a stencil and inked through them for my flowers. The papers are scraps from my bits box. I made a flower and the heart from scraps too and threaded a couple of beads onto the ribbon. The image was coloured with Promarkers.
Overall I am quite pleased with it.

What an amusing card, I'm a bit worried as to what she is going to do with the flowers. I do like all the design elements you've combined to make this attractive card, I like the heart and the flower especially. Thanks for sharing it with us at Soartful.
ReplyDeleteCute x
