MUSIC MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND

Happy Tuesday Peeps,

Today I have been having another bash at an Art Journal. This is actually only page 3 as I am not overly confident with this sort of thing.
Anyhoo, I wanted to enter the MUSICALLY CHALLENGED #4 - Chris Isaak Challenge which is being sponsored by SASSY STUDIOS. Now, I have some Sassy's but I went over and bought myself 2 new ones as I didn't have any in bikinis - which were right for the song (if you watch the video).
I started with a plain page in my A4 sketch book .... the page has now fallen out :-( Don't know how I will bind all this together now ...pfffftttt !!!
I inked a bit on that page and then I printed out some daisy paper, onto which I had superimposed the lyrics from the Song, then I tore round the edges and stuck that on. I used a stencil to ink through for some more flowers on top that. I found a lovely mystical stamp which I put on a couple of times in black, to sort of hint at the lady he is actually singing about.
I coloured my 2 Sassy ladies and cut them out. Then I added some 3D daisies.. as per the video. If you like to see it - go over to Musically Challenged and you can play the Vid. :-)

Hmmm... well, I think that's it. :-)

I used:
Sassy Studio Designs - "Beach Resort Sassy" and "Polka Dot Bikini"
Elaine Cox rubber stamp - "Miranda".

  4. Well we think you need to art journal more, just think of it as an extra large ATC nd you'll be well away. Your page is fab and we love the images you chose.

  5. Love the way you've warped the lyrics a couple different ways. It adds such an interesting look to the piece. Awesome digital colouring and even awesomer (?) digital shading!
