GLITTER AND GORE

Hello Sunday Peeps,
Here is my piece I have made for the Glitter & Gore Challenge over at SMUDGY ANTICS. I have been having a bit of a creative block recently but got inspired last night and this one has come out quite well. I have used 'MoonStruck' from the Movie Madness range by SMEARED INK (drawn by me :-D) and a couple of heads from the 'Gross Anatomy' set.
I coloured her digitally and then printed her 4 times and fussy cut for 3D effect. I used glitter on my moon and on parts of the sky. I coloured the heads using Copics.

Here's a closer one trying to show the glitter on the moon !! I think you can just about see it, but if I use too much flash it bounces off. Glitter is a bit of a bugger to try and photograph and it definitely don't scan !!! :-D

I made up a sentiment and smurged some red ink over it for a draggy blood type effect for added gore :-D
I am hoping I will get my Mojo back soon as everything is such a bloomin' struggle just now :-(
Anyhoo, thanks for looking and I'll see you later xxxx

Challenges I am entering:

Smudgy Antics - Glitter & Gore
Alphabet Challenge - F is for Fantasy (well I wouldn't want her in my 'real' world, would you ?!!)
Jelly Park Challenges - Make us laugh or smile (well - how about a little dark humour ??)
Papercrafting Journey - Use a Sentiment
Sara Hurley Challenge #79 - Projects With Character

  1. Love this suzy great sentiment to
thanks for comment on faux leather tut yes you can still do it just don't do the rub on bit and you probably wont have to seal it either I added because I saw someone doing it with the way they were making the faux and decided I liked the look so thought I would add them as I don't use them very often so a good excuse to get them out
you could if you wanted to add a little something use a gold or bronze ink pad if you have one that add a similar effect

  8. Wow and can I just say WOW!!! For someone's who's having probs with her mojo it isn't stopping the absolute amazingness (yeah I know it isn't a real work but where you are concerned it should be) of what you are creating. The glitter on the moon is such a fabo idea and those toenails are something else. The night sky background with the trees rocks and the colouring, both digital and by hand is superb.

    Hugs,
    Lisa
