MY DARK VALENTINE - DAY 3

Hello Peeps,

Well - that schmaltzy time is creeping ever nearer and you know I don't really DO that crud, so I am delighted to be playing in this great Hop hosted by LEIGH and giving my darker side of Valentine's Day a bit of a shake up LoL

We have a fabulous 5 days of darker schtuff to see and I hope that some of you will come and play along with us :-D

For today's piece I have a  card using several die cuts and borders with an image from LEIGH SB DESIGNS - Ode to Poe.  I coloured his face with Copics and fussy cut him to add to the panel. I also added a Raven head. (Click on images below for Shop links).

The wording behind Poe is from his poem 'Romance'.

For today's piece I have made a  Playing Card with a dark and delicious queen of hearts. The image is " SUCCUBUS 3 " from the Set of 5 available at IKEsART.

She was coloured and the image copied and flipped to make the playing card. Then I added some dripping hearts :-D

I am looking forward to playing over the next few days.

KITTY TIME

Hello Peeps and happy Friday..... it's nearly the weekend :-D

I am here with the first of my kitty ATCs that I am making to celebrate Janis' 60th Birthday over at HER PEACEFUL GARDEN.
This one I made using my Freebie kitty at this month's SUYP Cats Only Challenges... " CAT SMILES "  from IKEsART, and I have paper pieced him with papers from the IMAGINE THAT Charity Fundraiser Promo Set.

UMBRELLA ANYONE ?

Good morning Peeps,
I was tickled by the latest Challenge over at THE THREE MUSES which is 'Umbrella' and an idea popped into my head straight away.
I love this Challenge Blog as most of the entries are digitally made and it gives me a chance to play in Photoshop. :-D

I have made this piece using Photoshop which features Botticelli's - Birth of Venus but with one small changed detail LoL

I think she definitely fits into the Challenge now hee hee  :-D

I hope you are having a good day where you are. It's got really windy again today and is very grey. I shall be staying indoors and all my poor kitties are unsettled.... they don't DO wind, and the dog keeps barking at any slight noise :-D

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT

Hello peeps,
Here I am with something a little more on the dark side. :-D
I am still trying to kick start my Mojo, so I thought going darker might help it along LoL
I have used an ODDBALL ART digi image called ' Sweet Spooky Sophia '   . I coloured this with Spectrum Noir markers and used a brick embossing folder for the background. The main picture was cute with a trellis die border and I splashed some fake 'blood' on my background and fussy cut some word art.

A LITTLE BIT OF GREEK WORD PLAY

Hi again Peeps,
I am here with my entry for the GERDA STEINER January Progressive Challenge.
I bought this cute little Panda to play along with. If you play this month, then you get an image to play along next month for FREE.  This one is called " Panda In Love ".

Anyways... my word play is that in GREEK the word pronounced Panda ...... spelt  πάντα means always, forever, so I made my little sentiment card to read  " Σ'αγαπω  Panda "  ( I love you always/forever) because he is a Panda  LoL.

I coloured him with Spectrum Noir markers and cut him out using a stitched rectangle die.

The background papers are from the Freebie kit ' Your Heart is My Target' by LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN.

So there we are :-)

BRRRRRRR -NO WONDER IT'S CHILLY !

Hey Guys,
Well - the old wind has finally swung round from the North here and it's definitely dropped a few degrees. 
We don't usually get snow right down here but they do in Northern Greece.  We've still got lovely sunshine during the day, so it's not all bad and then Spring will be here end of next month-ish  LoL

Anyhoo...... here's an awesome photo I found from space......... my island is by the red arrow.......... and I think it's a bit chilly all around.  :-D

SOME CARD COMMISSIONS

Hello again,
Here are my latest card commissions. Some of them I am having to make smaller because our postal rates have really gone up a lot so some people only want small cards....... bit difficult for me sometimes as I like to put lots of layers and stuff but hey-ho  :-)

This one is made using a Bow Template from SANDRA's SCRAP SHOP.  I tend to hand cut mine now as I can't be bothered to get out the CURIO.  I have made cardboard templates of all the pieces so I can cut round them :-)

This little guy was made using a die cut and cutting him out of corrugated card. The background was using scraps from my 'bits box'.

This one is a fold out 3D window card. I used a colouring page image for the Princess and added glitter and snowflakes.

I used a new die for the background of this one. I can't remember who the little ballerina image is from  TIDDLY INKS - Tiny Dancer freebie.   I coloured her with Copics, and made some die cut flowers.

Here's another bow card with flowers from SAMFLORA.

This one uses Binary paper for the background, a clip art computer geek and I cut out a tiny keyboard to embellish, with the letters for Happy Birthday coloured in red.

A LITTLE BIT OF JOURNAL PLAY

Well hellooooeee :-)
I hope you are managing to squeeze a bit of crafting into your weekend ?

Today I have a journal page I've been messing with. I always struggle with journals.... I sit looking at the blank pages and struggling to fill them with something. :-(
I messed around with some Tim Holtz inks and a couple of stencils and then used a LOST COAST DESIGNS stamp - " Mucha with Pillow ".
This stamp is a lot smaller than I wanted, so I stamped her then scanned and re-sized and then printed it onto my required sheet. I coloured bits of her with Copics.
I printed the quotation in Photodraw and cut it out and added a tea bag wrapper.

I still do too much 'hmming' and 'arrring' trying to do Journal pages. I quite like what I ended up with but I could never say that it flows freely !! :-)
