SO LUCKY

Happy Wednesday morning to you all,
Today I have a little Tag for you. Today at Simply Create Too, the Challenge is 'I'm So Lucky' and with St Patrick's Day coming up there is plenty of inspiration around :-)
I have used a fabulous little FREE image from Susan Paulson who is hosting a Tag challenge over at The Stamping Boutique at Crafter's Cafe. You get the image for free if you join in :-D
I have coloured him digitally and the 'paper pieced' his trousers, waistcoat and shirt. Then I printed him out 6 times and layered him up with silicone to make him really 3D. Not sure if this shows up well in the photo :-)
I have used a 6 x 3 inch tag which I distressed with green ink first. I made a little kilt effect on the side using St Patrick tartan and added some feathers and a button, I though looked a bit shamrock-like :-). I added 3 tiny cut-out shamrocks at the bottom that I covered with Stickles to make then sparkly. My sentiment tag was another freebie from Crafting With Jack over at the CDAC Progressive Freebie Digi Challenge.

WHICH WITCH ARE YOU ???? HDH122

Hello and welcome to Macabre Monday at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE. This week our Theme is 'Which Witch Are You?' where you can depict yourself as a witch or use your favourite witch in your creation.  I have used 'Hedwig' from Rick St Denis. I had forgotten I had this and this is the first time I have coloured her up :-D   I coloured her with Copics. For my background I have used papers and elements by Helena Monteiro's  'Boo' kit available from Digidesign Resort. I layered up my witch and the buttons using silicone glue and I followed the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp for my design.

BLACK & BLUE AT SMUDGY ANTICS

This week at Smudgy Antics our theme is Black & Blue -  now, I must admit that this totally stumped my Mojo this week. I left it almost until the last minute before I got my brain in gear for a creation. !! Don't ask me why - isn't it weird sometimes when a theme just doesn't give you anything at all.... or is that just me ???
Anyhoo - I came up with this:

My main images are 'Dead Dancer' and my latest acquisition -  'Praise Angel'  from the Symbology of Angels Set both of which are from SMEARED INK. I coloured both images digitally in PSE and I have layered them onto a montage of two other images. One is from The Black Swan poster which I borrowed from Google and this is faded into a white and black feather background. Don't ask me how/why I got this in my head - it just came all of a sudden. :-D
So, I hope you will come over and join us this week. You can create anything you like so long as it fits in the theme of the Challenge BUT you are only eligible to be picked as Winner or Top 3 if you have used a Smeared Ink image in your creation.

It is glorious and sunny here and about 25 degrees :-D      Dontcha' just love it :-)
Here is my first creation for the Progressive Free Digi Challenge over at CDAC. I have used my latest FREEBIE image (available for 1 week until she skips off to my Shop) The lovely sentiment digi is a freebie from Crafting With Jack. 

I used a bit of Irish tartan paper and some shamrock for the backing - torn and distressed with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint ink and made a little pleated tartan thingy to decorate. She is cut out and stuck with silicone for lift. My sentiment tag is coloured digitally and then cut out and inked on the edges. It is stuck with a foam pad.

I seem to be in tag mode at the moment, having just got myself a packet or two :-) This is only ever the 5th one I've done - I did 2 today LoL -  but I am getting to like them more. :-D

RUDOLPH DAY 2 - FEB

Hello,
I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend and doing loads of crafting :-D
I am entering over at STAMPING FOR PLEASURE again this month for Sandra's RUDOLPH DAY. What better way to get all your Chrimbo cards done than doing this throughout the year on 25th of each month. :-) Don't know how long I will keep it up 'cos I nearly forgot this month !!!
Anyways, I have created a tag with a tag for my offering today. The first one I distressed with my new blade thingy and added 'Stella - Christmas Fruitcake' image and sentiment from Bugaboo stamps. I coloured her digitally and then cut her out and used silicone to stick her to my tag. The sentiment was put on another tag with some holly. I distressed this tag with some dark green ink and the holly was layered with foam pads. I think it kinda works :-)

TAG IT ON

I'm feeling inspired today :-D
I was browsing Black Dragon's blog when I saw a challenge over at Dragon's Dream, where they do a thing called Tag It On. The theme this time  is 'Bird Song'  - a novel about WW1 by Sebastian Faulks - and I was totally inspired by the story and the gorgeous creations over at Dragon's Dream.  Now, I'm not usually one for making tags - I've only ever done 3 I think, - but I recently sent off for some tags to have a play. So, here is my effort.....

I have used several images for the background and superimposed them upon each other. The lady is from itKuPiLLi, ribbon is from my stash, the rose I made myself, and the bird is a die-cut... one of a few I bought from a sweet friend Linda who is selling them at her Blog shop. Go to Scrapcat Cards by Linda to get some great die-cuts at super prices. It's a great way to get them as I couldn't afford all those cartridges she has for her Cricut !!!! I also added some extra cut out barbed wire over the top.

QUOTH THE RAVEN - QUEST 4 ..........."OH,POOR KITTY"

Hello Peeps,
Welcome to Thursday :-D Today we go up with Quest 4 over at QUOTH THE RAVEN which this week is called "Oh, Poor Kitty" and takes it's theme from 'The Black Cat' by Edgar Allan POE. If you don't know the story, you can read it HERE. I have whipped up some new images for this one, which can be found in my Shop. I'm having a bit of a shuffle round over there and now have separate categories, so that hopefully will make things easier. :-)

Here is my offering for this week, using my Wall from 'Poe Wall Cat', but with a new cat I did this week. I printed the wall out 3 times and layered it up to give it depth. He is put against a graveyard background and I added another cat up the tree and a POE image blended into the background. All images were coloured digitally.
