COLOURING MORE FREEBIES

Here I am again with a couple more of my collected Freebies from the stash waiting for colour.
My First one is this week's Freebie from 2Cuteink and it's called 'PUMPKIN COOKIE'. 
This was the Newsletter Freebie and I have coloured him up with Copics in a sort of pointillism fashion with yellow, light orange and dark orange.

Then I cut it out and mounted him on a rosette (Tim Holtz Alterations Die) made with 'Halloween Howlers #5' paper from Crafty Chaos (no longer trading), and then mounted that on some pale green card. I made a larger card using the #5 paper and a handmade sentiment to go with. Couple of bits of ribbon and Ta Da !!!

My second one today is using this week's FREEBIE from SPYDER's CORNER - he is called "CARROT TOP BUNNY" and will be available until next Tuesday-ish I think. SPYDER gives out a Freebie on Wednesdays. :-D

I have used him with "CARROTS THE BUNNY" and have coloured them with Spectrum Noir pens and then cut them out. I placed them on a Jillibean's double sided scrapbook paper  paper called Fresh Veg Soup and then mounted that onto pale green card with an inked edge.

I stamped a sentiment using Papertreyink, Urban Design Communique Curves Sentiments cling stamp inked up with a Marvy Brush Marker #64 Plum. I also added a sticker cabichon from a 'Summer' set which was sent to me by a Chum. I don't know who makes these :-(

                             

So there we are :-) I've had quite a busy afternoon.

I'm off now then to dig through my huge stash of freebie images to see what I will colour next :-D

OH, HOW I CHORTLED :-D

Hello - well I guess I was just struck by a bought of utter sillyness when I saw the latest Challenge over at STAMPOTIQUE DESIGNERS CHALLENGE - BLING IT OUT.  Something just clicked in my head and I got this crazy idea for a play on words. I chortled to myself all the way through the colouring and basically from start to finish on this creation and here it is......

I put 2 photos in cuz I was trying to show the Bling but it's heard to catch that on photos !!!!!

Images :  Heads and Prom Queen by STAMPOTIQUE.

I coloured my images with Promarkers and Copics and cut round them to mount them on foam pads. They were accented with Stickles for glitz. The background paper is from the 'Absolution Deferred' Set by CRAFTY CHAOS.

Good morning and happy Monday to you,

I recently won a Guest DT spot over at LOVE TO CREATE and my spot is up today. The theme this time is for Challenge #140 is GIRLY & LACY and  the Sponsor is WHOOPSI DAISY.
I was given a lovely little image to play with from Sheet 515 and you know me ..... I could just do straight girly + lacy, so I zombied her up a bit. :-D

I got inspired and did two pieces - here's the 2nd one...

I coloured her up in two different colourways using Copics and Promarkers and then I scanned her back into the computer and made digital backgrounds for her.

I used;

SNARKY, SNARK, SNARK !!!

YaY !!! I just LUV the new SISTERHOOD OF SNARK Challenge Blog... just hilarious and just the place you want to be when you're in 'snark mode' hahahaha LoL
Well Challenge #2 is called " U is for UnUsed" and I have made my piece using one of my brand new images... so it's totally unused by me :-D
I have coloured her digitally and put her against an 'Absolution Deferred' background paper from Crafty Chaos (sadly no longer in business). :-(
My new image here is called "REALLY ?!!!" coz she just has that look on her face - right ??!  I added to her a lighted match so she's ready bwahahaha LoL She is available now in my SHOP.

Here are a couple of ATCs I did now back in my darker region LoL

The first one is for  Wicked Wednesday Challenge and that is all about fangs :-D
The image is called 'Corneleus' and he is part of the Monster Heart set from SMEARED INK.
He also has a sentiment from their 'Bloody Valentine' set. I have stuck him on a strip of acetate, so he kinda' "boings" about freely in front of the background :-D 
The background is from Crafty Chaos. All images are coloured digitally.

My second one is for Fun With ATCs Challenge - Gothic and  is using 'Honey' from the Goth Fairies Set also by SMEARED INK.
She is on a background I firked out of my snippets box and I added some twine. She is coloured digitally.

QUOTH THE RAVEN - QUEST 18 TIC,TAC,POE

Our TOP 3 this week too were - tOri,  Mark and Corrine. Such stunning entries and so many of them this time, it was extremely difficult for us to choose !! Our Followers are gradually increasing too, so we are very pleased to be finding all you POE lovers out there and we thank you for coming over to play :-D

So, now onto Quest 18.... Here is your Tic, Tac, POE board..

Choose any 3 boxes in a line and use them to make your creation but don't forget it MUST be related to Edgar Allan POE in such shape/form/connection :-) That's the whole point of our Challenge site eh ??!!

For my creation this month I am converting a little booklet I got with my phone. It started life looking like this;

I shall be decorating it a bit at a time and have completed the front page. I used the CENTRE line DOWN on our grid......... Ribbon/Raven/Flowers. I have background paper from Crafty Chaos, a Raven from SMEARED INK's Quoth The Raven set and across the front I sewed some lace with roses onto a piece of acetate. The Raven was printed 3 times and fussy cut, layered up with silicone to make him 3D.

I hope you will come over and play along with us this month and also take a looksee at the delights my Minion Sisters have made for you. We are thrilled to have our beloved FIONA back with us for this month and we send her huuuuuge hugs xxxxxxxxx

ATCs

I love making ATCs, so I couldn't resist this weekend trawling through to see what I could come up with in the way of Challenges. I found WICKED WEDNESDAY, who's Challenge this time is Gothic Love and the sponsor is BUGABOO - well that's a great combination if ever I saw one, so out came my bits and bobs to make an ATC. I used backing papers from Crafty Chaos (sadly no longer open) - the set is called Gothic Bruise (how appropriate) and my image is 'Skelekinz My Heart' from Bugaboo.  I distressed the edges of my backing cards with my Making Memories tool. I coloured her digitally and then printed her out 4 times and fussy cut, mounted on 3D pads for pop. :-)
I also used a sentiment from Bugaboo 'You have my Heart', but it doesn't show up quite so well in the pikkie :-(

Good Morning Peeps,
We are here again for QUEST 17 - ANYTHING POES over at QUOTH THE RAVEN. Congrats to JULIA for winning Quest 16. :-)
This time you can make anything you wish provided is has some connection to Edgar Allan POE. Simple eh ?!! Our Quest will run for 1 month so you have plenty of time to come and join us :-D
Here is my creation this time...

I used up some snippets for my background and the label has paper from Crafty Chaos Designs.

The POE digis are both mine and are available at my SHOP. The image I have used is the Prize for this Quest :-)

SMUDGY ANTICS - SUGAR & SPICE

Happy Monday and welcome to this week's Challenge over at SMUDGY ANTICS............ Sugar & Spice.
I must say I was a bit stumped for ideas at first and seemed to get more Mojo-less as this weekend drew near :-( Maybe coz' my illness flared up and knocked me for six this weekend. I have got my project up and finished though, so all is well. Maybe I'll creep back off to bed now though coz I am still not quite right !!  :-D xx
I have used one of my new digis which is exclusive to SMEARED INK.....'Succubus 3'.
printed her off twice and coloured her with Copics. Then I scanned her back into my computer and melded them together. I have also used some Roses from the 'Flower King' set also by SI. The background papers are from Crafty Chaos Designs.

What an amazing variety of projects! We are stoked to move on to today's challenge and see what you can muster up, and hope you are as well.

Welcome to Day 2 of SmudgeFest!! 

The Challenge: TRASHY TUESDAY 

Create a project by upcycling some of your trash! Be sure to pick something that is obviously trash (i.e. soda can, bottle tops, 

bread closure tabs, etc.).

Now I have made something using an old book... well I think Mills & Boon is Trash, so it works for me LoL I also fished a couple of old CDs out of the office bin and used those as well for the bases.

My main image on the top is "Dead Dancer 2" from SMEARED INK . I 'fussy cut' her 8 times and layered her up with silicone to make her 3D (Oh, where is my melting pot ????  on it's way across the pond !! Grin) Anyhoo, there she stands atop my old book ATC, business card/whatever holder :-D She looks the same from the other side. :-D I used papers from the Jezebel's Remains set from Crafty Chaos Designs.  

Now - you may not think M&B are trashy but old CDs... I mean - they're OK right ??... they were in the bin, so I am sure this will qualify :-D 

So here it is in all it's glory... who'd have thought a trashy book would come good ?? LoL
