LET's BREAK OUT THE STAMPS

Helloooo Peeps,
I thought I would go through my stamp boxes today and have a little play, and I realized how many stamps I actually have and how little I use them :-(
So today, I have used 2 sets of NBUS to make this leetle offering :-)  It's probably the closest thing you are gonna' get to Valentines from me !! Bleh humbug !!

For my base, I have used snippets of red and white card left over from Krimbo :-) I stamped the white card multiple times using stamps from my SARNTANGLES limited edition rubber stamp set. These were made by my mate SARN at Stamping For Pleasure.  I have used one of them before but most of the set is NBUS.  I used the Tangle and the LOVE stamp. I edged the card with some Whispers red ink.

On top of that I layered a piece of plain Vellum with a punched edge and attached it with a heart brad.

The Baby Teddy and his Mum are stamped using the " BEAR HUGS " set from Stampin Up.

SPIDERMAN, SPIDER MAN, DOES WHATEVER SPIDERMAN DOES.... - SMUDGEFEST DAY 7 part 2

Hello Peeps... it's me again with #2 for the last day of SMUDGEFEST 2015. This Challenge Theme really tickled my fancy ..........................

The Challenge: 

SUPER SUNDAY 

This one is a little different than anything we've done before. Your challenge is to take any Smeared Ink image and turn it into some sort of superhero on your project! We'll be nice and let you choose either super hero or super villain, but in your description or even on your project, you must tell us your super's name and super power. 

Here is my creation #2...................... SPIDERBaby................

This piece has a background made with Textured Impressions Spider Wed embossing folder from STAMPIN' UP and I smeared it a bit with a black ink pad.

The baby is called "Wants Up" from the Babies of The Damned by SMEARED INK.

I coloured him with Copic markers and then cut him out. He is mounted on 3D foamies.

His shooting webs from his hands were made with a sort of plastic netting stuff that BLACK DRAGON gave me :-D

Papers were from my Little Sizzles pack by Sizzix, Silhouette die cut, and the Bunnies are from the 'Ears to You' set by STAMPIN' Up. There are popped up with foamies.

A FLOCK FOR A FRIEND

Hello Peeps,
Here is a little card I made to go with a present for a cyber friend of mine - Sandra of  STAMPING FOR PLEASURE  :-)
Now this lady used to have a couple of chickens that were regular posts on her Blog - getting up to their antics in her garden. :-)  She doesn't do that Blog any more but I thought she might like a little flock for indoors :-D  Would you believe it though .... I forgot to photograph the 'Girls' before I posted them, so here's hoping Sarn can take a pikky of them so I can put it on here.
*** Well - Sarn took me a pikkie of the Chooks at their new home... so here they are ......

Anyhoo, I made this little card to go with them using STAMPIN' UP products. I have had this little set for a while now but couldn't decide what on earth to make with them. This is what I came up with - I followed a design I had seen elsewhere, but used different colours and papers, and somehow it doesn't seem as good as the one I followed !!! How does that figure ?????  Maybe I should just stick to the Dark stuff :-D LoL
Sarn is a SU demonstrator, so I am sure she will be able to point out what I haven't quite got right with this one :-)

WOT ARE TWINCHIES ?!!!

Hello again Peeps,
I have heard lots about Twinchies, and other weird thingies but wasn't sure what they were until I went over to Sarn's Blog today.... STAMPING FOR PLEASURE.. where she had made one for a Challenge.  It was like a "Derrrrr !!!" moment when I realised it mean - 'Two Inch' creations !!!!
I thought I would give it a go and also break out one of my new Stampin' Up sets.... 'Betsy's Blossoms'.
Well, Sarn is always an inspiration to me when I am in 'Cutesy/Normal Mode' LoL...  so I produced this..............

I coloured up my flower stamp with Marvy Brush Markers and stamped directly onto my card. Then I did the same with the leaves and cut them out. They were then given a hint of Stickles and layered on there with foam pads to make them pop out. The little bee is from 'Cute as a Bug' digi set from Carley's Digi Scraps, and it was a free kit that she gave away daily all through February :-D

Then I wrote my little sentiment with a fine tip pen. :-)

This is my first 'Twinchie' and I'm not sure that these things wouldn't make you got blind if you did too many hahahaha. Anyhoo - I dedicate this one to Sarn - a source of inspiration :-D xxx

THINGS I LOVE

Me again !!
I have a few bits and pieces to show this weekend, so I shall be back ....
Here is a tag I made to enter some challenges.
I made a background for my tag using text and then overlayed digis from STAMPIN' UP. I have used 'Outlined occasions - Love' and 'Sprinkled Expressions - Flower'
My kitty is 'Witches Cat' from OCTOPODE. I printed my coloured kitty 3 times and then layered him up on the card with silicone glue to make him 3D. I must try making some of those wobble spring thingies coz I reckon that would have been a bit of a laugh if he had a wobbly head :-D . I added some glitter to the hears on 'Love'. Bow and glitter heart are from my stash and I made a stick pin too :-)
