31DAYS OF HALLOWEEN - DAY 8

Good Morning All,

I am here today with my creation for DAY 8 of the 31 DAYS of HALLOWEEN BLOG HOP. I am having a cutesie day this time :-D

Today I have used " PEEKING BLACK CAT Set " from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN. This is their latest FREEBIE. You get a Digi File and a Cutting File in this set :-D
Today I used the digital pre-coloured kitty and the stickers set from the Combo. I fussy cut the kitty and mounted him with 3D foamies and added a silver witches hat charm.

WINDY MONDAY

Hello All,
It's windy again here and a fair bit of the dreaded 'Red Dust' floating about :-(
Consequently, I am hiding in my craft room hahaha :-D
I decided to blow the cobwebs off my Silhouette CURIO this morning and made a Tag using a cutting file Bear from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN. I must admit that I made the bear pretty small and the machine grunged up the flowers and words. Maybe I don't have the settings right cuz I have a new blade in there but it just chewed the flowers up :-(
This sweet Bear comes with these great backing papers, so I used them all.
The flowers were made with a die cut and the ribbons are scraps from my stash.

I've got some other bits to Post later, so I'll be back.

HI EVERYONE

Hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
I have returned from my UK trip and am now getting myself back into gear :-D
I have decided to try not to neglect my little personal Blog so much so here is my first card make for 2018.
I have used the Kangaroo from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN. He comes from the "AN OUTBACK CHRISTMAS Set" but I didn't cut out the Chrimbo hat because this card is for a Birthday.

I actually printed it out onto white card and coloured it with Promarkers and then cut the pieces by hand (only because I was too lazy to get out my Curio and sort out different colours of card LoL)

The background is a printed mining map of Oz because the recipient works in the mines.  

I have used my new Alphabet Die Cuts to do the name.  :-D

This card was a commission order.

QUEEN OF SNARK GUEST SPOT

Hello Peeps and happy Saturday,
I am here this morning wearing my official Queen of Snark tiara after winning the last Challenge over at the SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS.
I have made 2 pieces for you today to fit in with this fortnight's theme - W is for WEDDINGS, Challenge #91.

Mt first pieces uses IKEsART image " REALLY ? " against " JUNGLE ". The background paper is from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN - ' School is a Roar ' Set - Freebie File . The Dino is from STITCHYBEAR .

 

This 2nd piece uses IKEsART images " DAAAHHLING "  and " GOTHIC WINDOW ". The window has png panels so I added a snow scene behind. :-)

These images were coloured digitally.

FAREWELL CARD FOR A CHUM

Hello Peeps,
Here is a card I made for a friend who has emigrated to Australia :-)
I used a Kangaroo cutting file from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN - only using the big Kangaroo without the Chrimbo hat from the set called ' AN OUTBACK CHRISTMAS ' (sorry - I can't find this in the Shop to hive you a link)

The backing paper is recycled from the inside of an envelope and the map is from the back of my 2016 Diary :-)

I cut out the Kanga and inked her edges. Added googly eyes and a little Good Luck tag in her pouch.

MORE PIGGY LOVE

Me again !!
This morning I saw the Progressive Challenge over at FROM THE HEART STAMPS and I remembered that I used to participate in this and really enjoyed it, so I went over and bought this month's image - ' HOGS N KISSES PIGWIT.
Don't you just LUV piggies ?? 

I have coloured him up with Promarkers and set him against a freebie DP I got at the weekend which was a freebie from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN in their 'Foxy Valentine' kit.

I added a punched heart border and followed the sketch over at I HEART SKETCHES.

 

The lips are a cutting file from PRINTABLE CUTTABLE CREATIONS.

I don't know what that little thing is that he's holding but I don't think it's an onion - not for Valentine's Day right ????!  :-)

VALENTINE HUMBUG

Well - hello there,
I have nipped in today with another creation keeping up with my " Use The Freebies " quest :-)
I got this great 'Leaping Frog ' this weekend in my BLOOBEL STAMPS Newsletter so I have coloured him up on an anti-Valentine card....... I don't go for all that shmatlz !!!

I reckon he would have been even funnier on one of those wobbler/twizler thingies but I haven't got any of those.

The background paper is from another recent Freebie - ' Valentine Surprise ' from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN, and the lips are a cutting file from PRINTABLE CUTTABLE CREATIONS.

I coloured the froggie using Spectrum Noir markers.

HELLO SUNDAY PEEPS :-)

Good morning Everyone,
I have been away from my Blog because I had my lovely Daughter and her family here for a holiday, so spent lots of time in the pool and messing around with my Grandsons :-D Both she and my SiL had some chillaxing time and everyone got a super tan :-D

I then had a big card order to do, which I will post pikkies of a bit later.

This morning I was playing with the latest FB freebie image from Angie Addison.... a cute chubby little plane and I put it together with a freebie FLAMINGO I got from Little Scraps of Heaven. I used the flamingo twice, flipped one and cut off and re-positioned his head to make him look up :-)

I coloured all the planes using various flags of the world. The background is an image of flamingos on a lake in Africa, where they flock in their trillions at certain times of the year !!!   

I also used a freebie vintage flamingo image. The LSoH flamingos were pre-coloured and they also came with a cutting file and some super background papers. You can find them HERE.

FEELING CREATIVE

Hello Peeps,
Here I am with a couple of cards I did today to use images I either got for FREE or that were for Progressive Challenges..... if I don't do it now I will forget !!!

My first one uses the image from Cre8tive Hands.  This one is the Freebie this month for the Progressive Challenge on FaceBook.
I coloured the flowers with Promarkers and used backing papers from a FREE set I got this morning from Far Far Hills which is called " May Grass ".
I fussy cut around the right-hand edges of the flowers to show the paper inside the card.

My second is made using a fabulous FREE digi kit and cutting File I got from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN yesterday.

This birdie is sooo cute. I have used the pre-coloured digi image and the backing papers for this one but I shall be putting him through my cutting machine in the future :-D

I followed a sketch for this design, and the circles were made with my beloved make up sponges dipped in inks :-D They work fine so long as to keep one for every colour cuz if you wash the sponges they go hard and crispy and not exactly round !!

I have to go scratch about in the garden now as there are things to do and it really is too nice to be inside :-D

ART JOURNAL EVERY DAY CHALLENGE

Happy Saturday,
I am popping in to post my journal page for the ART JOURNAL EVERY DAY CHALLENGE  over on the SMEARED & SMUDGED FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE.

I haven't actually put it in a Journal as yet since this is a 7" x 9" page and I don't have a journal that size..... yet !! The one I started a couple of weeks ago is a 5x7".

I have used a background paper which was a freebie from LITTLE SCRAPS OF HEAVEN and came in the Spring Penguin set. I overlaid part of that with a paper from the Zombie Killer Set by SMEARED INK called 'Cracked' and I made that paper transparent so I could use it as an overlay. Behind them is 'Cemetary Arch'. The Girl image is called Anita, and the bunnies at the back - Occasions Grumpies Bunny, Boney Bunny, Skull Bunny, are all from SMEARED INK. The 'Fluffy Bunny' decoupage character at the front is from a SVG cutting file by MY SCRAP CHICK.

I coloured bits up with Spectrum Noir pens and my new Tombow Dual Brush pens, but I wasn't keen on how they didn't blend well for her skin on this paper :-(

Well - that's it for just now... I have some other stuff coming up over the next couple of days.
