MESSING WITH ATCs AGAIN

Happy Sunday Peeps,
Today I am playing with ATCs again - one of my passions :-)
I am joining in at WICKED WEDNESDAY ATC Challenge coz they are doing Black Cats - another of my favourites and Broomsticks..... YaY !!! early Halloween :-D
The sponsor this time is DIGIDARLA DESIGNS and I have a couple of her super cats :-)
I have used 'Kitten n Cloak' and printed him 5 times to fussy cut him and make him 3D.
The background of cats on broomsticks was a freebie from Freecraftdownloads and I used a die cut for this shape. Orange Halloween paper  and kitty with broomstick button are from my stash.

I have displayed it on my brand new mini easel kindly sent to me by the wonderful HOUSE OF BEARS and this is the first creation to grace the easel :-)

SUNDAY ATC HIT :-)

Good morning Peeps,
Here I am again on my ATC hit for today :-D

This one was made with images from Octopode - Norman and a skull and crossbones. Norman is usually holding a cute little chicklet but I wanted something different for this ATC. In stead of that he is offering you a skull for a present LoL
The sentiment is a quote from 'Emma' by Jane Austin.

I fussy cut him and put him on with 3D foamies, then I cut the skull twice and layered each one up. The background paper is a couple of snippets I had left over from a previous project and  is from 'Endless Love' by Juliette at the Digi Design Resort. I made half the ATC with the dark and half with 'normal' to reflect my quote....................... "One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other". 

This certainly applies in the Crafting World doesn't it ???!! :-)

I printed my sentiment onto a teeny tiny ticket. The Font is called 'Blood'.

HOUSE OF BEARS BOOK CHALLENGE

Hi there,
Over at THE HOUSE OF BEARS they are having their Book Challenge again :-) This month it is 'Little Women' and the Bears have kindly given us a few inspirational quotes. Now I've used one of those quotes with one of my new images I am releasing today. I drew them for the Tooth & Claw Theme in the DT Throwdown at Smeared & Smudged. Voting starts today for the DT with the best pieces so why not pop over and vote for Me... errr... someone :-D 

Now - I'm sorry little Bears, but I think you are going to be totally freaked out and scared with my ATC for your Challenge. I have used "Scream" - one of my new digis and taken one of your quotes. Let's hope you recover quickly !!!!!

ERIC NEEDS A 'LITTLE WOMAN'

Gosh - I nearly forgot my entry for the literary challenge over at THE HOUSE OF BEARS - April Book Challenge. This month the book concerned is "Little Women"  by Louisa May Alcott, and the Bears were kind enough to give us a list of quotes from the book to use as our inspiration.

I have done a bit of dark humour using one of my digis, I loving call 'ERIC' and I am sure he is definitely in need of a little woman.....bwaahahahahaha !!!!!

I thought this quote from The Bears choices was pretty apt for the look on his face :-D 

I made him a hand embossed 'brain' background for inside the card and smurged it with red,pink,  green and black inks to make it look 'brainy'.

Well - that's it... I'm off now for coffee.

BEARS' BOOK CHALLENGE

This is a piece I have done for the Book Challenge over at THE HOUSE OF BEARS. 
The book is A Thousand Splendid Suns, by Khalid Hosseini. 

                                

The story is based in Afghanistan and spans the 1960's to the 2000's, the traumatic life of Mariam and ultimately her death.

For my piece, I have used part of one of my own digis - Scheherazade - available in my SHOP, and set her against an old painting of an Afghan marketplace. She has been coloured digitally in PSE9.
