CRAFTY DAY

Hello Peeps,
The weather is very cloudy today so no playing in the garden and it's a bit too dingy to be able to paint the bedroom walls - I won't be able to see if I have good coverage - so today I am having a play in my craft room.
Here's my first card of the day made with images from BECCY's PLACE.
I snagged this Free mason jar and put it with one of Beccy's cats from the " CAT'S MEOW " set.

I printed the kitty twice - one time a big bigger - so that his head is bigger to allow for the refraction of the glass jar.

Inside I have also used the CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES from BECCY.

I used paw print backing papers by ERIN CROUCH STUDIO - At The Zoo Set  available from PIXEL SCRAPPER, and THE COTTAGE MARKET -  Free Pawprint Papers.

I also followed the Sketch over at Beccy's MAY Challenge, but I flipped it to Landscape.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

Hello Peeps,

I have popped in to show you a set of ATCs that I made for a Swap in January over at YOUR PAPER PANTRY.
There was a cool video that Stephanie did showing us how to make the Northern Lights background with inks and daubers and then stamping trees on there. I had a go........ I didn't have the sorts of inks and stuff she had and only had 1 tree stamp, but I managed to prepare my backgrounds and then feed them into the printer to put some trees on there. These are silhouette digis from BECCY's PLACE.

I didn't then have any daubers either so smurged mine with fingers and make-up sponges.  The hills were masked off before the sky was done and the stars are done with a white nail art pen :-D
Had to wait until now cuz I lost the photos that I took and had to ask Steph to do it :-D

The top centre one I tried on photographic paper but it didn't work out so good - but when I rubbed it I got that coooooool turquoise bit where the ink started to come off !!! :-D

I really enjoyed trying a new technique and can't wait to get my Swaps back from the other Girls. I've seen a couple and they look awesome !! :-D

ARE YOU MUSICALLY CHALLENGED ??

Me again ..... I have been over to MUSICALLY CHALLENGED to look at their latest one and I found a new singer to me... KERLI. She is fascinating and I am really taken with the track for this month ..... CREEPSHOW  :-D  It gets right in your brain.

Anyhoo - I am waffling... here is my creation for this Challenge.

I have used 'Elf' by TokBobok for my main image and coloured her with Promarkers. The background is a freebie paper from Papercraft Magazine and the 'Pines'  are from BECCY's PLACE.

WAIT FOR IT..... ANOTHER ATC BINGE COMING :-D

Hi there and welcome to the first in a run of ATCs I am making.... don't you just LUV these little suckers ??!!! You can go as detailed as you like or just simple but on such a dinky little size :-D  I am going to have an ATC day today :-)

Here is my 2nd entry over at FUN WITH ATCs - Die Cuts Challenge.
I decided to use the other part of the die cut..... you know the bit that's left. I have a box of these sort of 'snippets' after cutting stuff and it seems a shame not to use them. I have done a reverse decoupage frame that goes down into the middle and the Sunflower is from BECCY's PLACE. I edged it all in Peeled Paint ink by Tim Holtz Then I used the left-over bits from cutting out tags the other day that said 'Be Happy'. I placed a little 3D bee on the top too from CDS called 'Cute as a Bee' and added a little Stickles to his wings, then I drew him a little fly line  to add movement. :-D

ATC ATTACK - PHASE 2

Me again,
I decided to enter the Challenge over at ATCs WITH ATTITUDE since their challenge this time is being sponsored by Beccy's Place and I have loads of her images :-D  

The backing for my ATC is a DP by Kim Cameron Designs and I have used one of Beccy's Bird Houses. I added a little New Home sign and the bird is from SPYDER and is called 'Heart Birdie'. I paper pieced him on the first layer with a new paper I won from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES, then I coloured another beak, heart and tail with Copics and put them on, also with 3D foamies. The teensy weensy button I cut out and then sewed on with some green cotton :-)

Sorry about the slight speckies - I scanned this into my Blog rather than fart about with the camera, and the plate must be a bit dusty :-(

So, I think I am off to bed now. Feeling a wee bit tired.... must be all the sun I soaked up lying by the pool all day :-D LoL   Luverly xxx
