CHICKEN CELEBRATION

Hello again,
I have some good news.... my chickens have finally started laying eggs again (after about 3 months).
I thought that my remaining 4 were getting too old and the last lot of eggs I incubated gave me no chicklets :-(       It seems though that one or maybe two of them are tired of being freeloading slackers and are giving the goods :-D LoL

Anyhoo - continuing on the chicken theme, here are some more ATCs I have made to enter over at Janis'  celebration over at HER PEACEFUL GARDEN for her 60th Birthday celebration.

These are for her CHICKEN ATC Challenge.
Both were made using chicken Cliparts and using Dovecraft 'Hello Spring' 6 x 6 paper pack.
The first one was cut with a teeny white border and has a nest made from jute strands.

This one I printed out 4 times and fussy cut the parts to layer up for a 3D effect with foamies.

I had a thought....... maybe my chickens knew that I was going to make chicken themed ATCs and the eggs are my reward for doing something 'chickeny'  ? hee hee  :-D

IT's ATC TIME

I'm back again today !!
I made some ATCs for a little Swap going on over at the VERA LANE FB Group:  Mixed Up ATC Trade.
The idea is to use multiple Vera Lane images on the ATCs.
I have used ' Cats and Crocks ' . I coloured the crocks and covered them in glaze and then I fussy cut all the images and stacked up the crocks. The backing paper is by MEINLILAPARK  - Cat & Tea Paper.
Now my cats have plenty of bowls of fresh drinking water but for some reason several of them will jump up into the sink and drink the water from my 'crocks' ! Don't ask me why .... who knows why cats do what they do !!!!

 On the other I used ' Lulu '. I also added ' Skull Sweater ', which I resized and just fit her perfectly over her original dress.
** I see now in the Shop that there is a special set with her and a selection of Ugly Sweaters that can be placed over her   LoL 
 I coloured everything with Spectrum Noir markers and gave her an Ombre effect jumper. The backing is a snippet of paper from my Halloween box and I made a little border using ' Freaked ' , downsized and placed together in a row.
I think Lulu and Freaked are older or were Freebies a while back because I can't find them in the Shop.

MORE ATCs

Happy Saturday Peeps,
Well I am still coaxing my Mojo back and not stressing him out by doing some more ATCs.
Here is one I made today to enter a couple of Challenges with.

The image is called "Dog with Party Hat" and he is by CREATIVE BUG. I can't find him in the Shop though to give you a direct link. :-(

I have coloured him with Promarkers and put him in a photoshop paddling pool.His background shows what my sky is like today, but it's still very sticky and I reckon the sun will come out later :-D

Here's another one with 'Scuba Bear' from MELJEN.

I am going to enter him in a colour challenge - amongst others and here is their brief.

I coloured him with Copics and added some shells from my beach :-D He's also got some Amazing Glaze on his mask but it doesn't really show on this photo.

I am going to do a bit of crafting down here in the cool today, so no doubt I shall be back later.

IN A HOLIDAY MOOD

Hello Peeps,
I am getting into a holiday mood now that we have hit June as I am off to see my daughter and grandbabies in 10 days time :-D
Much as I don't like the travelling, I am looking forward to seeing her and family.
I think though that my Mojo has left without me already as I am not feeling at all inspired and have commissions for 4 cards which are as yet unstarted :-(
In the hopes of enticing Mojo back, I thought I would mess with some ATCs (start small - right ??!!!) They are going to be on a Holiday theme for a Swap at Card Making World.

I found a really cool Seagull backing paper and it is marked Alice Potter, but I don't know where I got it from.
Then I cut out a snippet of postcard paper from a Vintage Card Pack that I bought from Create and Craft about 10 years ago ... LoL
The suitcase was a freebie and I paper pieced it with a picture of real leather. The little lady sitting on her case waiting to go is 'Angelina Flowertina Sitting' who is a freebie from CREATIVE BUG ON THE LOOSE, and I think she's still snaggable if you are quick :-D I coloured her with Promarkers and Copics.
The mini postcard says "καλό ταξίδι"... which is good journey in GREEK.

So - there we are. In an attempt to lure back my Mojo, it's not come out too bad. :-)

WICKED WEDNESDAY

Hello mid-week Peeps,
I am having a go at Wicked Wednesday this week, which is an ATC Challenge Blog,  and I am really getting into these little suckers over the last coupla' weeks :-D They are such fun and I like working on a small scale.
Anyhow - Wicked Wednesday this week are doing WHOOO LOVES OWLS and they are sponsored by SMEARED INK, so I just had to join in this one with Calamity, a kinda' cutesy owl from them.

I used a beige speckled basecard and I inked the edges in Tim Holt distress ink - Vintage Photo. Then I put leaf images for the background - done twice with the top layer more faded that the first. Then I tore the edges and inked up again with Tim Holz distress inks in Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo.
Calamity was paper pieced with owl feather image and the coloured up with Promarkers. He was then multi-printed and fussy cut, layered up with silicone to 5 layers to make him 3D. I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist adding some googly eyes, coz they go at such quirky angles some times, and it make me laugh :-) !!. Words done in Photodraw.

SMUDGETASTIC CHALLENGE

Happy Sunday Everyone,
I have been experimenting with ATCs today - this is not something I have done many of, but I decided to use some of SMUDGETASTIC's 'Heart Attacks' set to make ATCs for the latest Smudger Challenge 4 - Hearts.
I distressed the card with my Making Memories blade thingy and then used Tom Holtz Distress Inks round the edges. The hearts were cut out and put on the ATCs with silicone glue to make them 3D. 
This is a new site and I have the pleasure of being on the DT, so do pop along and have a look and join in this challenge.. you've only got 2 days left !!! :-D  You could win the whole set of HEART ATTACKS.....
