30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE - DAY 30

Hello Peeps,
This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING.  
This last day's Theme is " GOALS FOR  2020 ".

I must say that on some days I found it all a bit of a struggle but I finally finished and only 1 day late :-D

30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE - DAY 28 + 29

Hello Peeps,
This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING.  

These last few days I have taken on a couple of emergency foster furbabies so things have been a bit hectic.
I am now trying to play catch-up and these are my DAY 28 + 29 pieces. 
The themes were " FAVOURITE PLACE and  MOVIES ". 

One of my favourite places is here in my garden in Greece looking up at the stars at night. There are no lights up here so no ' light pollution ' so the stars are really bright.
I added cats because if I'm out here then some of my cats usually are too :-D.

This was made by finger painting and cut out silhouette grass and cats added afterwards.

Good afternoon Peeps,
This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING and this is my DAY 27 piece. The theme today is " WEIRD SCIENCE ". 

My take on Davinci's ' Vitruvian Man ' with Perspective background and stripped musculature.

In my usual fashion I went over the top with this and then my pen started to run out and I smudged it a couple of times !!   
I shall be glad when this Challenge has ended - my ideas of quick 10 minute sketches goes straight out the window because my anal brain doesn't seem to be able to grasp that concept !

Good afternoon Peeps,
This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING and this is my DAY 26 piece. The theme today is " FAIRIES & GOBLINS ". 

I got the watercolours out again today - I would get told off for getting 'too fiddly' ...but Hey  :-D
Learning how to sort of 'push' the wet colour around but this paper's not that good.
A bit scary for some but she has got some added glitter  glue on her wings though to brighten her up hahahaha  :-D :-D

This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING and this is my DAY 23 piece. The theme today is " HOBBIES ". 

Ran short of time yesterday - car had to go to garage, got 2 new emergency Doggie Fosters so had to get something ready for them, so I totally ran out of time and am playing catch-up with everything now. Not doing so much better today either !!    :-(

Along with painting, drawing, pyrography, gardening etc. I like to knit and crochet so I have done a quick pencil sketch of that.

This is my DAY 4 piece using a POE image from Figaro Designs, which I covered in clear sticky-backed plastic..

I cut multiple die cut oval frames and stuck them together then painted them gold to make a frame. 

I used a piece of wood as my base and stenciled with paste using Dutch Doobadoo stencil - A5 Burlap.

I added some words from " The Raven ' by Poe and some embossed corners. The whole thing was painted with pearl paints. Then I added some strip pearls bought from my local Chinese shop and some flowers from Samflora.

Sorry about the glare picked up by the sticky-back. It was impossible to take a photo using flash but it still picked up a bit of the ceiling light. Unfortunately it didn't show up the gorgeous shine of my pearl paints !!!  :-(   Grrr - you can't win :-)

This piece is called " Reflections of Athena and I used Spectrum Noir markers -going a bit dry so the face didn't blend too well :-(.   Actually, she looks better in real life - I think the flash photo makes it look worse than it is !  :-D

This is my DAY 2 piece using " Scarecrow " by Oddball Art.

I have coloured it using Spectrum Noir markers and hand written part of POE's Poem - The Raven around the edges.

Here is my piece for Day 1 - I have a re-show of a mobile I made which has Ravens and using the Nevermore and Quoth The Raven wording as balances. It's all strung with fishing line and uses two pieces of soft metal for the arms.

I want to try and make something new today but I am really pushed for time due to card commissions and taking Doggo Boi to the Vet.

Good afternoon Peeps,
This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING and this is my DAY 15 piece. The theme today is " THINGS THAT FLOAT. ". I learnt a really great technique for painting petals at watercolour class last night and I thought it might work with Balloons. Not quite the right shape I wanted and I must admit I did them on separate paper and then stuck them on because I didn't know how to do them with sky behind !  :-D

This year I decided to join the 30 DAY SKETCHBOOK CHALLENGE 2020, which is organised and run by MAGENTA SKY PRINTMAKING and this is my DAY 13 piece. The theme today is " WINDOWS ".

This is a digital piece made using my " GOTHIC WINDOW " image from IKEsART.

I made the glass portions of the window blank and then put a scene behind. This image comes in JPG and also with PNG window sections so you can add a scene behind :-)
