HAPPY MONDAY

Hi there Peeps,
I am just popping in quickly this morning to post a little something I made for a couple of Challenges.
I have used "Furry Friends" by WHIMSY STAMPS and I have coloured them with Promarkers. The card and snippets of paper are from my large box of 'bits' that I am trying to use up :-D I followed a sketch kindly supplied by ROUGE REDHEAD DESIGNS.

Here is a little ATC I have made using belfry images and a lovely little Bat from LIMITED RUNS. I have coloured him and then printed him out in different sizes for my project. The ATC opens out at the sides.

THEY FINALLY ARRIVED !!

Aha !!! My tickets have finally arrived in the USA for the June ARTSY FARTSY TICKET SWAP over at YOUR PAPER PANTRY........... 'Donkey Mail' must have been swatting them off his butt coz they took ages to get there :-(
This Swap is hosted monthly by the lovely LINDA of Scrapcat Cards by Linda :-D She does a great job of Hosting and Co-ordinating this fun Swap, so this month I sent her some extra goodies.
Without further ado... here are the tickets I made....hand cut 6cm x 3cm.

Here is my piece for the latest Challenge over at SMUDGY ANTICS... it's called "In The Wild"...
Well - I tell you.. you wouldn't want to find this b*tch out in the wild or under your toilet seat would you ????!!!!!

I am still on my ATC hit and today I have a three-parter for you.
It folds over and gives me 3 pages :-D
I have used images from MELJENs which I coloured with Copics. The front page was die cut and then sponged with ink and then stamped with my little Studio G alphabet stamps.  I had to write a big NO coz I don't have stamps for that size :-(
I used snippets of designer papers for the other pages.

I have another sudden influx of kitties in my garden.... again !!!! ..... such a shame - I think our little Greek island will eventual get over-run with kitties !!  :-(  I try and scoop up + neuter what I can but feel it's fighting a losing battle. :-(

Anyhoo - this week I offer you some more kitties... proper ones this time :-D

WOYWW 214 + MESSIN' AROUND

Happy WOYWW 214. If you are wondering what this is all about, then pop over to Julia at STAMPING GROUND and see what we all do every Wednesday... we're basically  nosey :-D Hee hee 

I am just messin' around today - did the Greek class this morning and I blew their minds trying to teach them the Accusative case !!!  I think my poor little pupils were totally shell shocked by the time our hour was up LoL

Now, I treated myself recently to a couple of the new 3D M-Bossability folders from Spellbinders and you say I played with one on some green mirri card.. on the left there :-)

The bit I cut off it I used as a backing for a little creation I have made for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #155 - which is sponsored this week by A Day For Daisies and the Theme is to use the Spotlight Technique. That means that you chose an area of your stamp/digi and colour it in and leave the rest in black and white. The 'spotlit' bit seems to be then cut out and set on top of the original image.

I have never tried this so here is my attempt....

I cut out a 1" circle from the little mermaid and coloured it with Copics, then I mounted it onto a bit of green card and stuck it back on with a 3D foamie.

The image was mounted onto the matching green card after edging with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I cut some little leafy thingies that look a bit like seaweed and I added some Stickles to it for shine.

I sanded the mirri card to make the embossed shells show out a bit more.

Good morning Peeps,

I went over to Lisa's Blog at DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES and saw her DT make for DIGI DARLA's CHALLENGE BLOG. The sentiment really tickled me :-, and I thought to myself.... I have a couple of DD images.... and Lisa's play on words got me into a silly mood, so I made this ..............

It's a twisted easel card and the image is called "Naughty Kitty Fish Bowl" by Digi Darla. I coloured him digitally and then put some stitching round the edge. On the inside, I printed the fish bowl again and then cut the little fishy out and carefully placed him next to the weed where the kitty 'fingers' were so you can't see it. The bowl has some glossy accents on it but that doesn't photograph too well !

SUNDAY ATC HIT :-)

Good morning Peeps,
Here I am again on my ATC hit for today :-D

This one was made with images from Octopode - Norman and a skull and crossbones. Norman is usually holding a cute little chicklet but I wanted something different for this ATC. In stead of that he is offering you a skull for a present LoL
The sentiment is a quote from 'Emma' by Jane Austin.

I fussy cut him and put him on with 3D foamies, then I cut the skull twice and layered each one up. The background paper is a couple of snippets I had left over from a previous project and  is from 'Endless Love' by Juliette at the Digi Design Resort. I made half the ATC with the dark and half with 'normal' to reflect my quote....................... "One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other". 

This certainly applies in the Crafting World doesn't it ???!! :-)

I printed my sentiment onto a teeny tiny ticket. The Font is called 'Blood'.
