Oh my gosh, it's the FINAL CHALLENGE over at SMUDGY ANTICS! Can you believe it? Congrats to those of you who have been here the whole week and for making it through all the challenges.

SMEARED INK images... Anatomy 101 'Scared Eyes', Part of The Pack 'Painful Wolf', 'Hungry Wolf' and the Sentiment.

I fussy cut my 'Painful Wolf' image and then layered it up with silicone. Then I used my brand new Melting Pot for the first time with UTEE and dipped her in. :-D  I got a coupla' air bubbles, but I was pretty pleased with the result.

I think next time I can put a little more UTEE in the tray. I wasn't sure how much to put, and at first I tipped in a whole 4oz pot and then changed my mind !!!!! Jolly good job I did eh ??... snort !!! This is a big A4 piece and I think I might hard mount it and make some sort of wall hanging thingy. You never know - somebody might want it !

And now for the Prize...... OH, I Soooooo want this bag !!!!    NO... I NEED it !!!!

The tree, bird and sentiment panel are fussy cut 

and layered on with silicone to make them 3D and 

I added a jewel and little moon charm in the 

corner. The secret of that is so it allows 

the ATC to swing up to reveal the inside .....................

Bwaahahahahaha !!...Cat got it... bit like my 

house then !!!!

I have coloured her digitally in PSE9 and placed her on a background courtesy of the Web :-) I decided to go digi today as I have been working all day on a commission for a Greek Christening, and I have to get stuff done by mid Sept... and there is sooooo much other schtuff to do to !!! 

Anyhoo there she is................... but I really think I need someone to give me lessons in hair colouring :-(  !!!!

I just had to make something for Challenge 125  'White + 1' over at One Stitch At A Time. I wanted to use one of my latest digis I made, having been inspired by a good friend - Susan - who contacted me about a dream. Her son came up with the name 'SINFUL BEAUTY' - which I thought was real cool. I designed her for fire but this one I coloured her all in shades of BLUE, so hers is like 'ice' fire LoL
I made a simple tag with silver leaf backing and some ribbons.

She is coloured digitally in SPE9  .

Jeez - these colours came out and schleped me right in the face this morning. I really had to get a grip and get my thinking cap on. !!!

In the end I came up with this ATC using 'Masquerade' from SMEARED INK  Background paper and lettering from 'Oh Brother' set by Going Digi. Then I made a feather and bling thing for the corner. :-) I used all 5 colours. (Click on Pic to enlarge).

QUOTH THE RAVEN QUEST 12 - THE GOLD BUG

Hello Poe Peeps,
I apologise for our lateness in bringing you this month's Quest over at QUOTH THE RAVEN - Our POE site, but we were not all present and correct due to holidays and tragic personal circumstances.
However, Quest 12 - THE GOLD BUG is now up and running. :-D
The story is about Pirates and treasure and stuff... all very exciting... so if you want to read the whole story, please go HERE.

For my offering to you this time I have used, an old map, cypher page,  old book illustration from the story and the gold bug from the web and my main image is 'Zombie Pirate' from DELICIOUS DOODLES. Isn't he just the business ???!!! :-) 
I used a small box with a sort of recess in it to make my piece - it's about A5 size.
I also made a stick pin with some red baubles, a silver heart and a little silver skully :-) 

So, now it's a fabbo Challenge and I hope you will have a look at the story, dig out all your pirate stuff and come over and play with us at QUOTH THE RAVEN. This will be a month long Challenge so you have plenty of time :-D xxx

Well, I couldn't think of anything really exciting to do for this one and I certainly couldn't think of how to make it dark or scary, but in the end I came up with this.... 

I used my Craft Robo to cut it out and stamped the bottom with a proper rubber stamp... woo hoo - yes I have some.I used a stamp of like pea netting. It is from Aspects of Design 1 - Floral and the flowers words are from Summer Flowers - both these sets from The Stamp Man.  The sentiment is from the FLOWER KING set from SMEARED INK

Well - suffice to say I didn't like this challenge at all, but maybe I was just having an off day !!!

What an amazing variety of projects! We are stoked to move on to today's challenge and see what you can muster up, and hope you are as well.

Welcome to Day 2 of SmudgeFest!! 

The Challenge: TRASHY TUESDAY 

Create a project by upcycling some of your trash! Be sure to pick something that is obviously trash (i.e. soda can, bottle tops, 

bread closure tabs, etc.).

Now I have made something using an old book... well I think Mills & Boon is Trash, so it works for me LoL I also fished a couple of old CDs out of the office bin and used those as well for the bases.

My main image on the top is "Dead Dancer 2" from SMEARED INK . I 'fussy cut' her 8 times and layered her up with silicone to make her 3D (Oh, where is my melting pot ????  on it's way across the pond !! Grin) Anyhoo, there she stands atop my old book ATC, business card/whatever holder :-D She looks the same from the other side. :-D I used papers from the Jezebel's Remains set from Crafty Chaos Designs.  

Now - you may not think M&B are trashy but old CDs... I mean - they're OK right ??... they were in the bin, so I am sure this will qualify :-D 

So here it is in all it's glory... who'd have thought a trashy book would come good ?? LoL

Hi Peeps, I have a few things for you today, but first I want to show you what I got today in the Happy Mail.
As you know, I entered a Matchbook Swap over at SMEARED & SMUDGED FORUM  and I got my first one today... it's from SHELL. It's just fantastic.... THANK YOU  xxx
I managed to take a fairly decent photo (my camera is giving up the ghost and I am going to buy a new one tomorrow!!) but it doesn't really do it justice.  I'll come back and show you the inside then too. But here is....

I also got an awesome decorated box full of goodies from HELEN................. OMG I was gobsmacked. Not only is the box fantastic but inside it was full of handmade flowers and a little bag of super brads. I used my only one of these on my project yesterday (I got it in a mixed back from Gauche Alchemy and I can't believe I now have a bag of them !! ) Coooooooolll 

Helen also sent me a fabulous TAG and some cut out spiders and chandeliers.

Lookee at this lot....

and just look at this awesome Steampunk Tag........ swoooon.....

OMG - well... I'm off to covert my goodies again... and I am going to use some of Helen's awesome flowers on my project for todays SMUDGEFEST :-D  See ya' later xxxxxxxxxxx
